This video has an Easy Rider aura to it, infomercial style though. Gives us the real deal review on this bike Adam.

I just saw one this morning driving. I recognized the clip-on bars and the guy had a nice Rocker jacket and aviator goggles. I see this version of the bike more like Willie G's XLCR design more so than the typical Honda CB knock offs of the British cafe's. Not exactly Royal Enfield's GT and not a Moto Guzzi but nice!

Shame about the lack of lean angle.

That's a cafe bike? Did I miss something? Looks suspiciously like a sportster with different bars.
@Mudux9 жыл бұрын
Mike Mays yeah, I wouldn't call anything that scrapes the pegs going that slow a "cafe bike"
@tylerandiemichael1599 жыл бұрын
ya i noticed that during the video!

Mudux lol.. yeah..there was a lot of scraping going on.. :) That low slung exhaust seems to be the culprit in the right-hander at around 0:50. This thing screams for a higher mounted pipe...
@exexpat119 жыл бұрын
1SaG Pegs scraping for sure before the pipes. Still not good for tight curves.

where I live, in the foothills of mountains and real twisting roads, this wouldn't work. Granted it looks pretty good, but the scraping and not being able to lean in. You want a NEW cafe style racer, and you're not going to be on the highway constantly? Buy the SR400 and change the bars and seat. You'll have a great bike for the mountains and a perfect urban commuter at the same time.
@motoganove9 жыл бұрын
only thing this baby needs is a decent sounding exhaust! I also fancy the SR400 concept cool stuff Yamaha :)

How about a scrambler version now?

Scrape......scrape......scrape....this would drive me crazy.

This looks like a Harley Sportster and nothing like a cafe racer.

I don't get why they can make another itteration of this bike, and still fail to give it an exhaust that doesn't look like crap.
@exexpat119 жыл бұрын
cueballB Yamaha loves the BAZOOKA! Remember the stock Warrior Exhaust?

***** Good lord, that was horrible. This one is worse though imo.

no sit on one ..seat works , bars right on , pegs back to where your feet go , better shocks . BUT the gauge is still crap , key location is still a joke to use while your on the bike , and the air filter housing is still in your right knee ..[ but you can spend more $ for the better acc. air filter housing from star ] ???? on not just doing it for the c- spc.from get go ...other small bits cost more that should be on c-spc
@n-gov6 жыл бұрын
Café racer? Thats not a café racer. Thats a sporty cruiser I guess

Just like getting a truck & converting it into a sports car with an angle grinder.....it's just not the same 😂

Cafe bikes originated in the 60s, not 70s. The seat is too low, the brakes are a joke, and when I rode one, all that engine heat dumps into your lap and exposes hot parts for leg burns. This bike may be just as awful as a Sportster.
