After seeing your video I cancelled my borla order and went to my local Canadian tire to grab a piece of piping and a tip. I sawed off the flange and welded it to the piping. Total cost 35$ and it sounds amazing thanks to your video. Cheers mate. (2013 impreza sedan)

Really nice video man. I have a 2015 Impreza 2.0i 4dr white premium and I plan on doing the same thing to my car. Going to plasti dip my rims matte black because I don't really like the silver finish to the alloy wheels. Already undercoated the car and painted the calipers red. Plan on getting the windows tinted and adding a muffler onto. Glad I found this video because all I could find was the WRX's which most of us can't afford. Very helpful video.

I have the exact same car and love it!! A couple things you could consider is...rain and wind deflectors for all 4 windows the hood and the moon roof. And also possibly a rear low profile sport type spoiler. I personally have and love the STI hatchback style spoiler on mine. If you pair it with the rain deflectors all around it really gives the car a mean look. Just make sure to get the deflectors that run the full length edge to edge with no space

Great looking exhaust. I have a 2015 Impreza Sport Limited (CVT) and have been looking to do similar. That sounds great and I'm glad you mentioned about "No Drone" on the highway. We tend to do quite a bit of highway driving on the weekends and the drone would make the wife unhappy!Thanks for the video, it looks great

Personally, I drive about 30 mins. one way to work, for me the sound had to be something that sounded good but didnt want to make me kill myself on the commute! haha In my opinion, but just simply removing the muffler and nothing else, I feel that I have found the perfect sound for this car! Also, I purposely had the tip come further out from the bumper to reduce the chances of there being resonation within the cabin! I hope yours works out well!

Awesome video for us N/A subbie owners!!! Plan on doing an open source tune on mine after doing something similar to this. Although I might do a catless exhaust eventually because I don't have to pass emissions where I live. Also going to do a injen SP1225 air intake and leave it like that for a while after a tune. Planning on lifting in the future due to living in the country. The audio quality for a phone is great in your vid too. (2014 base 2.0l owner)

You should consider the Rear Spoiler that was an optional accessory from Subaru. You should have little to no problems ordering the Spoiler from your local dealer.

Chris, nice job on your Impreza exhaust.. I too was looking for a late model dually mod on an Impreza (not STI or WRX) and if they're out there, they are hard to find. Your mod gives a nice sound and a nice appearance- without breaking the bank! A drive by at speed and a start under moderate to hard acceleration would be appreciated. Thanks!

I hope the later models have better sound proofing in them than my 2012 Sport Premium does. The road noise from the tires can get pretty loud over 65 mph. I also had a muffler delete (Rallisport Racing) on it for a little over a year and I loved the sound! The only problem I had with it was how loud it got inside over 70mph. It didn't bother me much until my commute to work changed and I had to do more interstate driving and a longer commute. It started to make my ears feel like they were constantly clogged up so I put the muffler back on. I'm pretty sure it was because of how the tip was just underneath and behind the bumper so it must've reverberated back into the hatch instead of more out behind the car like yours probably does. I've actually got a video of it on my channel. I recently ended back at the same job site as before so I'm back to a 30 minute commute. I'm really tempted to take the muffler back off since it's been almost a year since I've had the delete on. I've also got a Ninja 650 that I recently put a Yoshimura Full system exhaust on so I'm craving that sorta WRX rumble sound again to liven up my drives with those paddle shifters haha!

So I have a 2014 Imprezza and a Catback Exhaust from a 2016 STI. The Only Difference is that the STI pipe Splits off into two at the end, So hopefully I get a similar Sound, and not to much Louder!

Have you take out the charcoal filter on your air box it will sound a lot better too and put an AEM usable air filter

No it's not. He had that custom done (just like me on my Ram). The stock exhaust crosses from the drivers side under the trunk (where the muffler was) and exits pointing downward, hidden by the rear bumper entirely, on the passenger side.

The CVT in my Impreza is really nice, I have zero complaints with it. Its always in the right 'gear' it seems, power when you need it low revs when cruising around. I have driven a great many cars, of them, this is the best CVT on the market IMO.
