Can you run the car on the access port with tgv delete and egr delete? Or does that require a tune from a tuner?

I don't have an ets intake. It's a PRL intake. The sound is from the intake mainly. The bpv makes a little bit of noise. An intake requires a tune without a doubt.

I have a question for you you're on stage 2 if something ever goes wrong with the car couldn't you just remap the ECU with the cobb thing so that we can be on stocky again and then if you have to put your stock parts and then your warranty would be active again Is that something you could do ?

Technically yes but they can see that you remapped the computer so the claim could get denied.

+Brandon Kent That all comes down to how well/hard you can launch the car and I wont launch it hard so the time probably wont be that good. I would assume with its power it would be around 4.5 seconds.

Having driven with the intake now for near a year, what are your thoughts, has it become obnoxious now and too much or are you still enjoying? I am looking to go stage 2 I have an assortment of parts and am debating whether I go DP and Intake or dp and chargepipe and then tune , unsure if I go with all three at once, but if I opt for dp and intake I have a provided tune by MAP.

I wouldn't drive this car without one because I love the intake/turbo noises. Yes sometimes it can be annoying because it is quite loud but thats only on a rare occasion. Its totally worth it but you will gain more with a charge pipe most likely. Also just get a tune no matter what. Every WRX is different and its hard to make one tune perfect for a bunch of cars like MAP does. Spend the extra money and be safe.

Derek Welker I agree I will be more than likely going do and charge pipe, do is MAP charge is PRL, have GS ebcs and TGV/EGR but probably gonna sell those parts and get a tmic and call it a day. paid TP for tune already so he will do that and eventually get a pro tune

I recommend getting the boost controller regardless. It's better at managing boost and sounds really good. I'm catless too.

Have you removed the secondary restriction pill?

You only remove one in the stock configuration. With the installation of the 3-port boost controller you replace all lines so it has been removed completely.

+Derek Welker Good to know thanks! Debating on getting a 3-port boost solenoid. I'll be ordering the PRL chargepipe, with their egr/tgv delete package, and wasn't sure if I needed the 3 port. I'll be keeping the stock jpipe and midpipe. I already have an axleback and don't really want to go past stage 1. You think the 3 port is worth it in my case?

+getgabenbro good combo you have. Downpipe would really set it off but a 3-port would really help in all cars, even stock. It's a much better unit than the stock one. Reacts to boost much quicker.

The flutter is from the 3-port boost controller.
