This week in the Garage, our 2016 Chevy Cruze is back for more preventative maintenance. At just over 3 years old and a tick over 10,000 miles, it's time to tackle the monumental task of changing the Cabin Filter.
GM really shit the bed on this one!! This task, while not completely terrible, is not for the faint of heart. You will need to disassemble a few things on the passenger side of the dashboard & console just to reach the filter housing. Be patient and take your time, and you should be able to tackle it in under 20 minutes. Follow along as I masterfully, almost surgically, disassemble the dash and gain access to the cabin filter. Just note that I initially removed a couple of screws that did not need to be removed. The 2 that I was looking for were on the left side of the glove box.
