Not too bad. I had about 10K saved up from selling my last car that i put down on the new one. I paid 44K for my 340. Some guy was selling it with 3K miles on it so i pretty much got a new car for 15K under MSRP.

Great review. You are, however, able to turn off TC 100% on the xDrive, which is done by holding down the traction control button. I am not 100% but when you engage sport+ mode on the xDrive, I believe it displaces more power to the rear. Probably not 100% power but definitely more than 50%!

this car is so gorgeous - I have a 2016 328i but I'm looking to trade somehow for a 340i msport - M3s are dope but for an every day understated driver with some pop - this car is so perfect.

You can use “xDelete” and it become RWD with the weight of an AWD. It’s still a lot of fun and with traction control one level off on AWD its still quite a bit of fun.

The b58 is also a closed deck engine with the b57 diesel bottom block which makes it much stronger than the n55

I have a black 2016 328xi. I do love the changes they made on this refresh (rear taillights and them being LED for example) Love it very much. I do have the sports seats and sport wheel (red cross stitching) but I wish I could have gotten the M sport package. Admittedly, was not thinking about it at the time budget was $40,000 and we bargained the price down from $44,000. I really love the M sport steering wheel though. If I ever get a chance at a another BMW, I'll def get the Msport package.

FWIW - I have a 2016 340i xdrive with a 6spd and you can definitely turn off all the nags. To the point of your own death if you're not comfortable or ready for the fun. P.S. There's a dyno pull of mine on my channel before I slapped the AWE exhaust on.

Nice review Brandon. I was watching this for the 2nd time and realized I know right where this road is, I drive it all the time. I totally agree with you on the i vs the xDrive. I had an F30 335i M sport with snow tires and UT winters never gave me any trouble. Looking forward to picking up a 340i soon.

xMoD Official that's a really tough call. I really like the S4 and the 340i I'd probably take the BMW still just barely. I think the technology in it a little better and I like the newer motor in it.😎👍

Yes you can. Hold the traction control button for 3 seconds, then the magic disappears. I have a 328 xdrive and it works.

Wow, some people are easily pleased :))) Personally I can't pay so much money for a car that's interior looks worse than a Honda Civic .... The base model 320 x-drive is the only good value 3 series. If you start adding options to it you are just getting ripped off...

I guess it's just a matter of opinion. but for me the engine alone is worth more than the whole Honda Civic. and I love the simple clean interior of the BMW. options do get a little expensive but people are buying them so you can't blame BMW. for that thanks for watching my video.

Hyundai Sonata is it okay car. the Toyota Camry is a good car. a Corollas a good car. but if you want a car that has some passion and emotion it's got to be German. so there's lots of cars that can get you from work and back or to home and back. but if you want something fun it's worth it to most people to pay a little more than a Civic.

Brandon Pierce, no problem! Out of the 3, which one do you recommend in terms of reliability and cost to own ( I am someone who finances, I do not lease)... Audi, BMW or Mercedes?

+VQ3713 it would be a very long reply for me to explain that. all those brands have good cars I lean towards BMW because they're the sportiest of the three and I like rear wheel drive. but it really depends on the driver. as far as the lowest cost to own. you want the special models so like the M's the amg's the S models those type of cars. it is better to buy a base model special series car like an m2 S4 or c63 then to get the regular model with all the options. Do you want awd what's important to you in a car?

Brandon Pierce, to give you a high level view on what I look for: -I drive a G37x sedan now, so I am used to having the power when I want it. -AWD (My G is RWD based and AWD kicks in only when needed, it is not 100% running AWD) -Sedan body or 4dr coupe -NAV, Headed seats, Sunroof, keyless entry, I am big on LED so full LED front and rear lamps preferred. -Reliability and longevity -Sporty but simple build (the Lexus IS has too many accents and divots in the body for my taste) -Simplistic interior, I hate a ton of buttons (Lots of complains on the G37 interior but I love the simplicity of it) -Seat comfort over sporty stiff appearance -I don't want something that is going to constantly break or prone to break (I know every car has its problems) -Based on the brands, I am stuck between Audi and BMW. I prefer their styling over a Benz. Thank you for your advice and help!
