Hello buddy, love my S1000, it's just gone for its 600mile running in service so will be able to give it the full beans when it comes back! Cannot really find a fault with the bike, it's perfect for what I want it for, I use a 2016 CB500X for daily commute and use the S1000 on sunny days for rideouts 👍

Hi G-Man...I just sold my Speed Triple also...I ordered the s1000r in Red, will be here in 3 weeks...on the Evotech Rad Guard, did you need to put a zip tie on the oil guard? Great review!!

Hi Al, thanks for watching the vid, I'm so lazy I'm getting BMW Dealer to fit my rad and oil guard as they owe me! So not sure on the cable tie sorry!

Ps, hope bike delivery goes well, I know you will love it! Also just remembered seeing a video of a guy fitting his rad and oil cooler guards and they were not evotech and he did use a cable tie, there are fitting instructions on the evotech site and I don't think they ever mentioned using a cable tie! I love evotech their gear is top notch 👍

Hey G-Man, the delivery went well, the weather is just crappy right now. Did you get any aftermarket mirrors? There is so much vibration from 60mph upwards, cannot see anything behind me. Just asking around, I do not know if heavier bar ends would help.

+Al Speed hi buddy, glad delivery went well, not great weather here either, although I leave on a road trip to Spain next week so will cover around 1500miles in a week in the amazing Pyrenees, weather should be around 30degrees! Did try some mirrors but didn't fit correctly so went back to originals, maybe I will try some rizoma at some point, may go for bar end mirrors.I fitted Evotech bar ends and look great but still same vibration through mirrors, ride safe 👍

Hi buddy, I never wired the sat nav up to the battery I just had a battery pack in my tank bag and ran a lead into it when I needed to but the Tom Tom battery lasted about 7hrs and that was plenty for a days riding 👍

Hi buddy, there's definitely less wind hitting my chest and shoulders than with the original screen, I like the wind to still hit my helmet which it does, I love my Wunderlich screen as any bigger would just cause turbulence around my helmet which I hate! Hope that makes sense 👍

I'm looking to do 2500miles through Germany/Austria/France/Italy and Switzerland so looking for wind protection thats better than the standard but I don't like any of the other screens. We will be doing more than 100mph on the autobahn though.....how tall are you?
