Thanks for making this video, I'm researching this myself. What are your thoughts on replacing the coils while you're doing the plugs? I've been seeing that that's not needed until after 100k miles, but that if you're close you might as well.

tswean to be honest, if you’re thinking about replacing the coils, best to just do it when you’re planning on replacing the plugs. Also I would just to see if any of them cracked or wrapped from heat or anything. Not sure how much these coils cost but if they aren’t expensive, replace them for piece of mind. If they are expensive, I would only do it if necessary

"T" stands for torx. Not a hex, a hex head is aka an Allen.

Good vid! What was the reason for replacing the plugs? Misfiring? I have 20016 X6 and at high acceleration cylinders 1 and 5 misfired. Little over 41,000... Puzzled.

Hey I replaced them cause I believe bmw recommend my cousin to replace them. O probably was due for regular maintenance. If you’re having mis fire, please check the coils and see if they are good and then check the plugs.

Hey, sorry I did not use 4644 on the bmw. I thought it was posted on the Supra video. The bmw ones were ordered from rockauto.

Love this guy! He says he looked for videos and all he could find was people just talking and talking and talking, not showing exactly what is done etc. Then what does he do here? He just talks and talks and talks and doesn't show how it's done!!!!! Yes he poiinted out a couple of things to undo (which you would find out yourself when doing the job), but nothing informative at all. Complete waste of time. Better off checking out 'BM Cars' channel. That guy shows you everything you need to know.

What do you need someone to show you how to turn a ratchet? What else is there to see? Maybe stick to youtube and leave the wrenching to car guys.
