I think this is the best design I've seen in a long time. It is distinctively Cadillac and it's just gorgeous. Timeless is an apt description. It looks very muscular and powerful, while still being elegant and "pretty."

Finally! American car companies can do what we do best again. Big luxury sedans. Not this rental car shit that's been going on since the 1980s. Go for the throat on the S class and 7 series. Charge as much as you want just make it a true american classic again!

Judging by how great the ATS and (especially) the CTS are, I'd choose this over an S class or a 7 Series without as much as actually seeing it in person. But I already have a Tesla and I still prefer it. :P

@shariar19959 жыл бұрын
by the time the business people get their hands on the Lincoln, they will take out lots of stuff to reduce price... .... and ct6 has ridiculous amounts of tech that will increase its price....LOVE THE NEW GRILL THOUGH

it will still stay at around 60 but a lot of the stuff will be gone because of manufacturing cost reasons... to build those seats, lincoln will need new manufacturing plants that will cost money and the business people usually just like using shit that already exists

Cadillac Ct6 costs $65,000-$90,000. Bmw 7 Series costs $82,290-$98,395 Mercedes-Benz S Class costs $96,575-$234,975 Jaguar Xj costs $76,000-$120,000 Lexus Ls costs $74,000-$121,500 This is definitely a bargain. Sure it looks a little plain on the interior to me at least, but considering it's cheaper than all of its rivals and still has a ton of features, REAL wood, High quality leather seats, etc. all being topped off with an elegant exterior is impressive. This is honestly the best looking American car I've ever seen on the exterior. (Interior could be a bit better tho especially for the $90,000 model.)
@adanlopez81879 жыл бұрын
No way cadillac can make this car that expensive. I think it'll start at 60k and then fully equipped won't be more than 75k. This is american luxury. It lacks a v8, and many more people will still go with a benz or bmw or lexus for their status symbol. American luxury carries much less prestige than foreign luxury. It's still a great value, but people won't switch their s-class or 750 for this.

Cadillac has got it going on, the 2016 CTS-V and especially the 2016 ATS-V are some of the most beautiful designs on the road that look like nothing else. Now comes a car that puts Cadillac in all the segments with world class cars in each. The interior is as classy as they come. The engine lineup is in line with what's being offered by the Germans and Japanese.

There is a version of the CT6 that has a drivetrain similar to the Volt but more HP? Its wise to look outside of Detroit for inspiration for new Cadillacs. It should be interesting to see what Cadillac will come out with after being based in Manhattan for a few years as well. One HUGE downer about this car is the surround cameras. As I understand it Gov Motors claims that even when you buy one of their cars the electronics remain theirs This means your car becomes a mobile surveillance drone wherever its parked.

Truly a stunning design. I LOVE Cadillac and do consider myself a GM fanboy but I'm sorry this is still not up to par. The buttons on the steering wheel and seat controls are made from the same plastic as the Chevy Sonic. Or they at least look that way. When will GM learn that all the interior touch points NEED to be made from the most premium materials available. This is why people keep buying the more expensive options over the ATS and the CTS. Even with the upcoming CTS-V, ATS-V, and this CT6, Cadillac is still a generation or two away before they're TRULY making luxury automobiles.

All that length to package and proportion the car well, but instead it ended up short in rear leg room and headroom. Sad. Also, some of the plastics look and feel cheap and the wood trim looks fake. The center console is also too wide making the big cabin feel cramped. Looks great on the outside but the inside needs work.

You're an idiot! This car has the best leg room in its class. Pay attention to the video next time -- the front seats are moved to the all the way rear position.
@yippie68629 жыл бұрын
Big man calling another man an idiot just because you disagree with his point. You're not even right, so grow up kid. The Cadillac CT6 does not have the best legroom in it's class. With 40.4 inches of rear legroom, for instance, its back-seat space splits the difference between the Audi A8 and A8L (38.7 and 42.9 inches) and the BMW 7 Series and 7 Series L (38.9 and 44.3 inches). Mercedes S Class has 43 inches. Jaguar XJL 44.1. Best in class? No.
@OneManArmy4Life9 жыл бұрын
Clearly you don't know its class. This car is equivalent to the short-wheelbase 7 series in size, yet it's much, much lighter, and has more leg room. Once again, you're an idiot... Next time look up actual dimensions.
