MotoMan, great channel, good reviews & very entertaining; now my question, would you kindly share the source of the sales volume of the S-class compared to the competition, is it specific for North America or is it global thanks!
@MotoManTV9 жыл бұрын
hipad77 The data we use is as published by Automotive News. That is in turn culled from the manufacturers themselves at the end of each calendar month.
@SSSandhu139 жыл бұрын
I think the CT6 looks very nice inside and out, BUT I felt to make a really big splash they needed to make it more... elegant? I still feel it doesn't look as nice as it could, the S-Class is beautiful no matter what you say about its driving dynamics.

There is a 4.2L V8 currently under testing FYI Not sure if it will be an option for the CT6 or if it will just go to the CT 7/8

Dave & the guys did one helluva job with the CT6! that chassis is a technological marvel! a car this big yet weighs significantly less than its rivals ... and I wasn't expecting an All-Wheel-Steering at all! Lots of new stuff too! New Chassis, New Engines, New Transmissions, New Cue, New Interior design, New Speakers ... New everything! The CT6 is certainly in an odd place ... longer than the standard 7-series & S-Class yet shorter than the LongWheelBase S (3" shorter) ... I don't think 3" worth an entirely new car though (L version? why not) perhaps the Range Topper should be a Series-75 successor & go after the Rolls like old times ... all in due time of course, we don't want another Maybach fiasco. lol I agree regarding the exterior design, its a bit toned down, Not as striking or imposing as the Escalade ... but still handsome ... they probably kept it on the conservative side to appeal to the Chinese market ... maybe they'll introduce an Executive Seats option in Shanghai later this month. I love the interior design & I'm really glad they got rid of the Piano Black surfaces. i really like the new interior, except for perforated leather surrounding the Navigation Screen ... should've kept it a single piece of Wood\Carbon Fiber ... Brabus can fix that ;) Say M, Alcantra headliner? or just a black fabric? also, What's the difference between the 2 cars? The Grey one had a different grille & a Cadillac crest on the fenders.

Great vid but the ttv6 is all new 3.0. Still has the naturally aspirated reworked 3.6. I hear a ttv8 is coming too. It should look great in dark colors

I sure it's the best but I read the base price was around $75k. I'm a CTS driver and that's as high as I go.

The car is nice, but it should have the exterior design of the Emiraj concept car. The only thing I do not like about the CT6 is the quarter rear window in the quarter panel. I see that design on other GM sedans like the Chevrolet Impala. It should had have the distinctive Cadillac Art and Science design based on concepts.

Its not the same twin turbo v6 from the v6... its 3.0 Vs 3.6L , plus the cylinder deactivation

Are you saying that a 6 banger is going to power a Caddy?

An ultra luxury long wheel base Caddy in the 100k range with self drive ability and designed to compete with the best from Mercedes and BMW should be out late next year. The CT6 is not Caddys biggest and best but a very good start nonetheless.

I want a CT6-Lutz. Let him loose on it in a design studio for an afternoon just to see what happens. We'd need the motor out of the Z06 (because Tadge) and as a moral imperative, it must be a wagon.

Reese Maxx Not certain if you saw our posts about that episode - the day we first premiered it, a similar car with the driver we mentioned in the episode was involved in a freak accident at Nürburgring. Out of respect for the families and friends of those affected, we pulled the episode. When we went to make it available again, there was a technical glitch with KZbin that rendered the episode unavailable in search, discovery or subscriber feeds - a HUGE problem for us. As such, we took it down again. That said, it will be coming back next week . . .

Someone please tell me why Cadillac is depriving a promising flagship of 1. its own powerplant (good God, at least a V8) and 2. a real name of its own. This new model should be set apart in its branding. That is all.

why does cadillac keep putting out these 4 bangers in these big cars!!! a car that size should showcase a v8 no smaller than a 3.0 TT or 3.6. its a waste of car to put a 4 cylinder in there
@theredragon0019 жыл бұрын
antonio jennings that continues to be my bone of contention with Cadillac. it can't be the mpg argument, cuz if I'm buying CT6 then IDGAF about gas prices
@bryancarsmiami79189 жыл бұрын
Honestly this car still looks outdated and probably is still behind the competition as far as Mercedes S Class I dare say even BMW 7 SERIES what do you guys think? But the real question is is it on par with lexus LS? Leave comments below
@johnls399 жыл бұрын
You have not driven or read reviews of the car so how do you know? If the reviews of the ATS and CTS is phenomenal and exceptional in their respective classes, there is no doubt that the CT6 could be superior than the CTS and towards the competition to the LS, XJ, S Class, 7 Series, Equus and A8 standard wheelbase models.
@bryancarsmiami79189 жыл бұрын
johnls39 You took what I said way to deep into context I was simply asking for opinions. I don't know that's why my question was posted.

Can someone tell me why cars bong while you have the door open? My XJR does this too... Its like yeah, I know the doors opened, SHUT THE F**K UP! As if I have it open and was like oh whoops, my bad left the door open. Good thing it bongs non stop to remind me. As for the CT6, will it have a V8 option? huge disappointment if not.

so motorman sells ct6 by trashing the excellent cts
@MotoManTV9 жыл бұрын
kenya catholic HIGHLY suggest you re-watch . . . your statement is totally off base . . . While there are some cars I am not a huge fan of and will make that known, the CTS is absolutely *not* one of them . . . I am HUGE fan of what Dave and the crew have done with that car. In fact, likening it to a Harvard Business Review case study of how to reinvent a brand. In this film, the point was the CT6 *picks up* from the CTS levels of interior refinement and other areas.
