I have had my 2017 RS for 3 months and the outward visibility for me is fine. Is it as good as a Mustang GT, no, but even on the first test drive it wasn't something that ever entered my mind. I am a little over 6'1" which probably helps and after 3 months my only complaint is the lack of storage areas. Even more baffling than the complaints about the visibility is those that complain about the tilt of the infotainment screen. I have never had any issues with being able to see what is on the screen nor has there been any glare problems and one would think that a taller driver would make this screen tilted down problem even worse.

The visibility complaints always make me laugh. Is it an SUV with 10ft windows, no. Can you see out for the car just fine, yes. With these handy inventions called mirrors and it now having blind-spot monitoring, anyone that complains about the visibility is just plain reaching for something negative to say about the car.

i just got a 17 1SS and this review is perfect... i have to sit with the seat in the most rear position and the center screen is fine in that position... get an automatic... and that 4 tail pipe exhaust is the only thing i wish mine had..

I test drove a turbo 4 earlier this week. Im not sure why but I didn't notice the visibility issues as much as everyone talks about. Also I think the screen is faced downward so it doesn't collect dust? Could be wrong there but that's just what I think.

If you were paying $42k JUST for luggage space and outward visibility you might have a point. But of course you don't buy this car for its luggage space so your argument is pretty terrible. Also the 1SS starts at $37k, just wanted to be clear on that point. And for that you get a Camaro that is faster than an M4, in a straight line AND around corners, for half the price. It is unquestionably the absolute best performance bargain on the road today.

Camaro has made Mustang, and Challenger old, and not so complete anymore. I drove the 1SS and 2SS, and yes, telepathy should be included because your eyes are useless with the absent view outside. But that 6 speed manual with that V8. Are you kidding me. Yeah the 8 speed autobox is faster. So what?! No noise folks, the noise. Also you will leave a Mustang GT behind, and you will tell Challenger to make it fair I'll give you a minute head start. The Camaro is that good. Now granted I was, and yes was a SRT392 challenger fan, but after driving Camaro. Ciao Challenger. I am just so amazed by this car Camaro. Even drove the V6, and it was a good drive. But the V8 is star of the show. GM did this one right!

Most reviewers and people really don't like the 7speed manual in the corvette. It's pretty unanimous across the board that it feels like 1 too many gears and is more or less a useless gear. Also the fact that you have to concentrate more on trying not to hit 7th gear when you shifting to 5th which was never an issue with a 6speed. If you think about it when you watch people drag racing the most common missed gears are 3rd and 4th. This is because they are floating somewhere in the center of the gate assembly and you cant just push it one way or another like the other gears in a 6speed. When you go to 7 gears you've just added 5th and 6th to this same issue. Now you have 4 gears to try and feel out instead of two.
