I have a white 2014 SS with manual transmission. I just test drove a 2016 with the 8 speed and holy christ is that car BAD ass. NEED a 2016 bad. Perhaps I can wait for the 2017 1LE? Nice job Chevy.

I'm a Chevy guy but honestly other car makers can build great cars too. Many car reviews are worth flushing down the toilet. This Camaro looks fantastic and the sound of it is phenomenal. I think the SS model is more than a normal driver can handle just take a look at the numbers and do the math. So what's always the deal with comparing the Camaro with the Mustang ? Camaro is a Camaro and a Mustang is a Mustang, period. 98 percent of all drivers won't take their car to the race track. If you want a high performance car and numbers are important to you than a nearly 40k dollar car won't fit in that category. Buy a Ferrari, Lamborghini or Porsche if high end performance matters to you. The Camaro , Mustang and the Challenger supposed to be fun cars for people just like you and me without having high standard expectations. Overall whoever is going to buy a Camaro will be more than satisfied.

However, that being said, you do get some things to help with that, like a blind spot assist light on the mirrors, rear cross-traffic sensors on the rear sides, and a decently wide angle backup camera.

I have this car. I've had 4 other camaros. The visibility merging into the right lane is not even safe. You can't see hardly anything. In the rain, at night is a death trap. I hate my car as a daily driver. When I put my kid in the back, it only during the day time.

+Daniel Maia I kind of agree. I adore the front of the Camaro Six SS, it looks so good. I was originally planning on buying a used Camaro ZL1 but waited for the Six to revealed. I thought it was awesome. In the months since the reveal, getting video, endless shots, I've grown to really appreciate the 5th gen ZL1 look. I think the weight reduction has caused some loss in exterior character and aggressiveness. The vehicle looks a little more generic now from any angle that shows off the back... even the side profile. Rear, rear 45 degrees views it just looks tiny and soft, not enough badass shape or aggressive edges. The taillights are great. I'm someone who liked the 2014-2015 taillights, the were more like the original first gen. I figured by this point I'd be fully accustomed to the Six (considering I initially loved it)... but time has actually made me like the 5th gen ZL1 MORE through direct comparison. The Six will still be an awesome performing, and great looking car. But I think something was lost.
