I have a 2016 LT Cruze, with the 6 speed manual, and I absolutely love this car, Chevy gave all kinds of discounts and perks when I bought it, the fuel economy was even better then they suggest on the highway, I was almost getting 50 mpg consistently, so far no complaints about this car, love it, great review

I think it is a nice car. The reliability is the question, but I think it is a more attractive package than the Corolla or Sentra. The Mazda 3 is a great drive but interior feels like crap, but the Civic turbo is the car to beat. Whichever you get, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Compact cars have come a long from from punishing econo-boxes into genuinely nice cars.
@gasolara20028 жыл бұрын
I honestly like the interior. Its out of the norm which is just my taste. Why I don't really do many American Cars because they tend to loose value too quickly, I really think with a little more cost prioritization the car would have been good. The rear suspension should be independent. A complex turbocharged engine is not needed. It actually does the car bad. The tail lights look somewhat outdated. It reminds me of the 06 VW Jetta. The front is up to date. I honestly can say GM has done okay here. I would advise to buy it used and not new but its a buy in my opinion.

Having test driven the Cruze, the 2016 Toyota Corolla, the 2016 Honda Civic, the 2016 Nissan Sentra and the 2017 Hyundai Elantra, I have to say that the Cruze competes with the class leaders in the competition pool, in terms of style, performance and features. I would say that for all the bells and Whistles GM put into the Cruze, if you have the cash go for the Premier. But if you are a little tight for dough, the LT offers just about everything you would need to be happy.

I'm not crazy about the back (on the sedan, it looks better on the hatch).. something just seems off about it, but the (premium) interior looks great and the front fascia are well executed. This is the top of the line model though, so lower trims won't necessarily look quite as nice. That's why I like Mazda, whether you get a base model or top model, the cars all look really nice while most other companies, lower trims sometimes look a little dorky when you take away some of the design elements.

However, nothing sounds better then a 4 cylinder whining while its CVT is holding it at redline like your nespresso machine making a cappuccino! and yes Chevy could have put nicer tail lights on the Cruze and I'm not a fan of the new style As far as the Corolla goes... They should do a safety study on how many people fall asleep behind the wheel of Corollas... Or all Toyotas for that matter, when you sit in the drivers seat you immediately yawn like you are being sedated and you suddenly become the driver that leisurely leaves a stop light while trying to keep your head up from the sheer boredom of the drive! Hey TFL, I was wondering if you guys could maybe elaborate more on the steering feel that keeps being brought up. I currently drive an older car with Hydraulic Power Assist steering, and I occasionally drive my gf's car which is newer with electric steering. The only real difference I can tell *granted im no professional driver* is that my car feels like I need to put more of a dedicated effort in making my car go the direction I want it to, but with the electric I just turn and it goes. I never really feel like I can tell more or less which car is going to go where I want it to, each feels pretty responsive and precise for the most part. Is the steering feel more of a sensation of literally feeling the "road"? Like the bumps or the friction of the tires? Or is it more just resistance when you turn the wheel? This may sound like a dumb question, but I've found myself usually pondering if what I'm feeling when I drive is what you guys are talking about. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

The only reason for that is because people who rent or lease cars pick Corolla. Civics get rented to but only a few companies supply them like ZipCar or Hertz. +Xtwonine Never mind, I see! At 6:50 I can tell which road you're driving on.

This guy shouldn't do 50mph on a residential area with a 30mph speed limit, a little irresponsible there...

I've been subscribed for a long time and enjoy your content thoroughly. However, you need to edit videos to be cohesive and fluid. Why does this video jump between so many topics? Why do you have so many separate cuts for speaking with the engineer? These uncoordinated cuts make me lost throughout the video as a viewer, and I become uninterested. I'm frustrated with how many times the video begins describing a topic, cuts out, and returns to it later. Pick one thing at a time and transition to the next afterwards. I'm only writing this in hopes that you will find it as valuable input from your viewers. Please continue to create great content, but please assemble it and publish it coherently. Thank you.

This looks better then my 2014 Ford Focus SE Hatchback. I'm turning it in early of the lease because the transmission is SHIT. So I'm looking into maybe getting a Cruze. My friend has a 2014 Cruze LT with over 50,000 miles and has had no problems at all.

+Robert Schneider I moved from a 2012 Focus to a 2014 Mazda3 because the transmission was so shit. I would definitely check out the Mazda, I've had 26K miles of absolutely no problems and it drives even better than the Focus.

+Austin Vosburgh I'll look into it.
