That's how I wired my camera from the dash to the trunk on my Chrysler 300 (06). I was hoping to see if you do different around the rear seat but that was exactly how I did mine (lol). I'll have to find if I can slip the cable under the rug for the rear seat when the next time the weather gets warmer. My camera is mounted on the trunk door behind trunk lock.
