@max F really i own one and zero problems best car I've ever owned and this coming from a chevy guy before this car i owned a chrysler 200 another awesome reliable car I'll admit the old dodge and Chrysler cars were trash the new ones feel well built and in my personal opinion never left me stranded like our nissan murano $300 worth in towing 😂

I just picked up my 2016 Dodge Dart SE. It has 45,000 miles a six speed sports transmission (stick) and I got it on the cheap from a dealership for $13,000 before it even had a chance to list. I found her on Carfax and jumped in after this amazing little machine. The body style is sexy, it jumps into 80 mph on the freeway before I realize it with plenty of room to break speeding laws. She is a VERY fast car. She corners like a dream. Luckily for me this car got dropped and discarded due to economic failures. For some reason people couldn't get their minds around a sports sedan. I can and I have everyday since I got it with immense driving pleasure.

I bought mine new from dealership and I Love mine,no issues so far and gas is really good not to mention the body style. Needs more credit than is given!

I have this car. For the most part I really like it. Its fun to drive and the inside is comfortable. Mine is right under 20k miles and so far I have had to replace a thermostat, the recall on the wiper motor, both covered by warranty. I have had some issues with the touch screen. It will randomly not respond and the screen will completely black out, which leaves the steering wheel controls and dash nobs unresponsive. Planning on taking it to the dealer to figure out whats going on with that. There is some road noise while driving, but overall I dont regret my purchase and enjoy it.

I just got mines also. I had problems with the back window the red grid lines was peeling off. I took it back to the deanship and they put on a brand new back window. I think my rear defrost don't work, the snow storm we had yesterday left ice on the rear window and I had the defrost on full blast plus A.C. and it didn't remove the ice. I didn't even have this car a month and already problems.

what year?? i got a 16 sxt dart about a year ago. only issue i had was the factory battery in these cars are weak. then unfortunately i got into a accident and almost totaled my near new dodge dart.... replaced the whole front end and its components recaharged ac system replaced o2 sensor. all out of my pocket unfortunately.. but even still after all that the car runs great. now i need to replace 4 air bags hahaha...fml

I have one too, 2013, its under powered and dodge is dumb for not making a SRT 4 version (super fail on dodge). I think people were waiting for that to come out and held out from buy a dart that was not a SRT. Plus the name Dart is so stupid, I get shit for it all the time. When People say Dodge Dirt it pisses me off soo fucking much Because it's really is not a bad car at all. I'm selling my dart tho and buying a 2018 WRK, faster car and just more Performance and cosmetic parts for the WRK and much more of a community in the Subaru world can't wait

I wanted a new car and ended up with the dodge dart in can't stop upgradeing it with a 6 speed manual so fun and smooth to shift I love it and plan to put a after market Turbo

FCA would have done well to have put the 295hp 6 cyl engine that's in the discontinued Chrysler 200 S AWD into this vehicle, and had an AWD edition. I understand the two vehicles are the same/similar platforms, so that should have been a no-brainer. I'll bet that would have kept this model alive, at least for a few more years, and would have competed with the Focus ST--maybe even drawn some buyers away from the RS if priced substantially below the Ford.

Don't think you could fit the 3.6 in it (The 200 has a slightly longer front end) ... But the 3.2 liter, with the stick would absolutely fly! That's what they should have done.

I bought a 2013 SXT and the only thing I had to do so far was 2 PCM updates from Chrysler and they were free. The styling is superior to most things out there. I just could not get excited over the Focus or Cruze ..boring! Currently at over 100,000 KM and its been a great little car. I had a Chrysler 300 before with a six and spent so much on gas. Now I spend $30 a week. I am in Canada where gas is over $5 a gallon so the thought of anything other than a 4 cylinder is out in the future.

I have the blacktop with a 2.4 multi air and 6 speed manual. FCA I making a big mistake. The handling is way better than it's price suggest. The technology as well the safety features built in to the vehicle are amazing, again for the price. Just when they actually design and build a good car that can compete , FCA ducks out to build more gas guzzling SUVs. What a big let down!

Have a 15 GT 6 spd manual 2.4L and I love it. It has features other cars in this segment do not have. The thing I didn't like was using the same steering wheel as the Caravan, and not something more sporty like the Chargers.

LOL! were you for real? Well, I can say if it actually IS your dream car, they are cheap as candy now, and your best bet is either an SE version (2.0L AUTO - Any Year) or a 2.4 (over 50k miles) auto. Mine is/was (selling it today) a 2014 GT and damn it nicest car I have owned hands down. Going into a Pathfinder and I can say I'm going to miss a hell of a lot about the car but need more space and towing options.

Neons were derided as unreliable, yet I still see tons of 90s Neons on the daily, and it's a given that they were driven hard and given below-average maintenance. Dodge/Chrysler in general is almost universally considered cheap and unreliable, but my 2013 Challenger SRT8 is solid as a rock, and hasn't given me a single problem. Nice interior materials, technology, and fairly luxurious, at least by muscle car standards. Going back to the Dart, the main complaint again is cheapness, but a same-year Honda Civic is every bit as "cheap," subjectively and objectively, in every way but price. Perception trumps reality every time.

Shame they killed the Dart. I’ve had my ‘14 Areo for over 2 years. Zero problems. I have the 1.4 turbo with 6 speed standard. It rated at 41 highway. I get 34 - 35 mpg in winter running 4 snow tires & 36 - 37 in summer. 39mpg is my best on a trip. I drove the 2.4 with the auto for 3 days. Was not impressed with the power, & could not get over 33 mpg babying it.

MISTAKES #1 naming it Dart, #2 no SRT version #3 not making the racetrack tail lights standard. PROS #1 no CVT transmission #2 IIHS safety side impact measurements are better than anything in it's class #3 the looks. Either way with my research and taking safety and cost into consideration I have 2 Darts being shipped to me. I'm getting the SXT 2.4L automatic , with the touch screen. Those will be for my twins and if there was a SRT i would get it for me, lol.

Nice car but in 2013 when I was shopping for a compact sedan, lease was much better on the Civic, so I got a civic Si. Now I drive a renegade with the 1.4 turbo with the 6speed manual. Isn’t fast but has enough power to go around and it does pretty well in light off-road and snow. But I’m thinking to get a 16” Dart with the 2.4 for my fiancé since these cars depreciated very quickly.

I have the 2015 sxt. I've had it for 2 years. Overpriced and underpreforming. Uconnect is constantly messing up. And when I hooked it up to a obd and it was a mess. I can't wait to get rid of it.

I remember the Dodge Dart name when it was a "compact" rear-wheel drive car of the early 1970s. I was too young to drive at the time, but I remember seeing these cars when I was in elementary school. At first I was skeptical when I heard that Dodge brought back the Dart name, with this styling and front-wheel drive layout. At the time, I didn't like its appearance. I thought it looked hideous, along with the rest of the Dodge cars that were introduced at the time.

The Dodge Dart is, in my opinion, a solid, well crafted C-segment automobile that is suffering from a low self esteem because of its predecessor cars suffering from bad motor mounts and prematurily blowing head gaskets! All of those previous problems were rectified, but unfortunately left some frustrating memories. However, I truly like the Dodge brand and I might buy a bargain Dart now, but I am betting that a 3rd. generation Dodge Neon is coming for model year 2018 as the successor to the Dart? Bring back the Neon as it still has a customer base and equity...

We bought our SXT with the 2.0 in 2013. It looks very nice, drives like a bigger car, handles good and has killer brakes. Built quality was not as good as in most other brands. But nothing we couldn't life with. But if you have a problem don't count on getting any help from Chrysler as we had to find out. Besides the problems they had with the 2013 model.The 2016's where still effected with the same problems. So Chrysler never did any up greats to fix existing problems. They instead just killed it off. To bad. It looks like there is a following for the Dart. All they had to do is get the bugs worked out of them and bring a more powerful version out. It never made any sense to my to have 3 engines and they all had about the same power. How about a 250 HP version. To me Chrysler is a big loser company and it was our first and last Chrysler we bought.

- Depends on the point of view. The Fiat 1.4L Turbo is slightly faster 0-60 mph .... The 2.4 (both with a manual) has more power on the freeway .. It's a better freeway passer. I like the 2.4

The dart didn't have much of identity just like the now dead Chrysler 200. The fuel economy on the dart was not great, the power 1.4l turbo is not strong but noisy. I personally love my dart but its neither a gas saver or a nice v4 sport model, most people swear by Toyota, Honda and Nissan so its hard to compete in the V4 market. I personally think Dodge should of came out with a dodge dart economy based and another SRT-4 model to compete with the Focus RS. Also Having so many choices SE, SXT, Aero, GT, Limited it destroy itself confusing the buyer let alone a front wheel drive turn off a lot of young buyers and most people hate American V4s.
