@@umerthemagnificent8672 No I’m not the first owner, my aunt used the car before me as a commuter back then. For one don’t race it like it’s a sport car, and just make sure to change the fluids ie engine/transmission. How many miles is yours? As far as the engine goes, it’s pretty solid. Dodge cars have a problem with the shifter, there’s a plastic piece that will break overtime which allows you to take your car from park into gear. You can replace the plastic assembly piece with a metal one or get a new shifter module. I just opened the assembly and manually pressed the safety button to take it out of park, that works too. And for the chain assembly I guess it depends on how many miles you got in order for it to wear down. You can replace that with the metal one.

Great review Scotty. I own a 2019 Charger RT Plus. I bought the Charger because I purchased a 16 Caravan for work and now with 105k, it has had the least problems of any vehicle I've owned. If you treat them right, they treat you right. You drive them into the ground, you have issues. I don't expect to put endless miles on a car and not having to service it. I also realize that you need to do more than oil changes. I address issues early. Previously I was a Volvo, VW and Ford driver. I was always at the dealer with one failure after another. I have 3k on the Charger and I must admit, I love the thing. The sound and feel when driving are awesome. It looks great, and I can fit three golf bags in the trunk without putting the seats down in the back! Can't do that in a Mustang.

I’ve had my ‘12 Durango Pentastar V6 since April 2012 and I’m still on my original headlights, directionals, taillights and break lights. The only thing I’ve needed was a new cabin filter when I thought that my ac blower was making noise. The V6 is fuel flexible and in that I live in Florida I’ve used e85 a few times when hurricanes made gasoline availability scarce and my Durango became a vegetarian. I drive it like an old fart and I haven’t had any problems.

I have a 2008 Dodge Charger 3.5L V6, and I love her! Bought it with 156K miles, for $4000. 4 years and 20K miles later, I haven't had really needed many repairs. The Fuel Injectors began failing so I replaced them all. I change oil and gaskets religiously. My favorite aspects are that it has sufficient power (just enough to keep me from getting in trouble). Also I love that the that the weight balance is dang close to 50/50, which makes it extremely stable at high speeds. Great car!

BEFORE you replace a hub assembly that has thrown a code but not making a noise....change the cable that plugs into the hub first. Its cheap and more than once when my hand held computer isolated which wheel was throwing an ABS code (also Service 4x4, Service traction lights on 4x4). You might be surprised that a 15 dollar cable is your problem...and still would be if you change the hub and NOT the cable.

We rented one in Utah last year and about about 1000 miles on it - other than the seats were not very supportive it was a decent car. The biggest surprise was that it handled really fairly sporty - super sharp steering, decent feel, nicely weighted - better than either the Taurus or the Impala. If only we could get the awesome seats out of the Impala and put them in the Charger...

If you drive attentively and take care of your vehicle, you wouldn't have dents in the doors like that, the paint on the wheels and grille is plastidip, so it's not factory, and practically any black interior would look like crap after 10 years with no upkeep.

I bought a red 2014 charger rt awd just last year with 110k miles for $14.5k. The car was maintained with oil changes every couple thousand miles and ran perfectly. I live in MN where we have a lot of snow in the winter, so I bought bridgestone blizzak tires and went through 8 inches of snow no problem. I tried to get it stuck and it wouldn't. It is an absolute beast. Unfortunately on Feb 13th I got rear ended very badly and ruined the rear and the exhaust. It took a month to fix and was almost totalled. But in the end it came out better than before. We got oem parts for it and the repair guy was able to put a Pypes Violator cat back exhaust on it. To this day I cant get over how well this v8 runs and sounds. Btw, I bought it myself at 17 years old. Nobody believed I could do it 😂. So I worked hard to prove them wrong and I don't regret it.

Scotty, I have a 2006 3.5L Charger SXT which I bought brand new in 2007 and I still love it. I have 160,000 kms on it.and it sits outside for 5-6 months a year so it's not exposed to salt as I live in Ontario Canada. They are actually really well built and the one you showed obviously has just not been taken care of at all. My paint, rims, and interior are all still in great shape because I took care of mine. The only issues I've had were the transmission leaked from mechanic making a mistake when it went to the dealers for the first service, the plastic piece in the shift interlock went (I replaced with the aluminum one, and I had to replace the rear shocks last year. No problems with wheel bearings, power steering, or anything else. They're great cars just not in the snow unless you have AWD.
