Thanks for the info. I'll definatly look into that fertilizer for the clover!

liquid lime and liquid fertilizer would help a lot until you get your soil right especially on the screen planting !

Do you know what the PH was? I would get some pelletized lime on that if you suspect low PH. It isn't as good as tilling it in the ground, but it will help. The clover is going to be spotty like that until it builds the root. For low rain and questionable PH it doesn't look too bad.I would put pelletized lime on that clover too. You won't get your value from that triple 13 or any fertilizer if the PH is bad. I would also consider 6-24-24 on the clover it doesn't need the high nitrogen fertilizer like a tuber does.. Just my 2 cents. Takes a lot of work! Nice work to this point!!

The test I bought was inconclusive but I thought it was around 6.5 to 7 on the PH. I know I'll need some pelitized lime and hope to get a good spreader for the job. I'm gonna do another soil sample and send it into a lab to see exactly where I'm at.

6.5 to 7 is good for your PH. 6-24-24 can be hard to find so any thing with a lower first number will work good. Corn, beans, turnips ext. like a high first number for nitrogen.
