If you like the looks of the stock seat, buy a Mother Road Customs tractor seat to replace it. They are not cheap, but improve the look dramatically, not to mention the comfort compared to the stock seat. I have a 2019 Slim in the denim red.

I'm having the 475 cam installed Tuesday with a tuner. Hoping for noticeable improvement.

​ @davidcampbell4130 I kind of wished I had never seen your original comment, because I started looking into this cam and now I have “the bug” for one. Man, if it’s not one thing, it’s another. I read that it totally changes the way the bike sounds. Still sounds like a Harley, but much more aggressive, I guess it is as I understand it. Not something I want to do myself though. Enjoy it……safely!

Thats beautiful. I have this bike, army green, the last of the twin cam, The electronic throttle, the hydraulic clutch, cruise control, abs, too hot to ride in california… and its getting hotter

Yeah, I’ve been lax. Used wax her every three months, but like I said, they look great after just soap and water. Wax is where it’s at though. 👍. Keep marathon watching my videos. I love it!!

Well Sir yesterday 04 09 2022 I purchased a HD. I really like the slim however here in Michigan city IN. I walked in to see a used 2002 88 twin cam vivid black 16728 mi. Heritage classic I have never seen a cleaner 20 y/o so clean I mean spotless it looked like a 2022. The salesman walked up to me and I said would you like to sell this bike in less than 60 seconds he said yep price is $8999.00 I said yep out the door $9828.43 I paid cash. I do love this bike!!! I still like the Slim your scoot looks fantastic!!! P.S. They told me they had pushed the scoot on the floor 5 min. before I walked in and all made a bet it would sell within 1 hr.

Simply Biking... Cool bike for sure. You are definitely going to need a bagger if you're coming to Florida.. I've never really liked the Road Glide. I prefer the Electra Glide Classic or the Ultra Classic Limited..

The chrome primary would look good. I'm prob too cheap, so might just let the aluminium on my 2015 slim just age out. Have you thought about a leather fender bib on back? Big Red looking good with the wax and all!

Sir I also want to ask you if you have tried turtle silicone spray on quick wax? I can wax my 2010 cadi cts in about 15 min oh what a shine. You can spray it on windows plastic rubber no no no problem. Spay wipe off 3 seconds no wait to dry. I will never paste wax again so F***ing easy. P.S. Your scoot super sweet ride!!

Thanks, and I haven’t the silicone quick max, but it sounds similar (probably a little better) to a Harley-Davidson product I use called Quick Shine. 🤜🤛

However you would like the bike to look, go with it. It's yours to do as you like. Although I wouldn't advise for the sake of everyone's eyes to go the route of Chuck out in New Mexico. That said to each his own. Your ride is looking good.

I want to say when I was about 6yrs old my grandfather said always use turtle wax because all they do from day one make products for cars and motor cycle paint's. They are the experts. I am 61 yrs old and turtle wax products have served me very well. And yes it's all I use on my ls 400 lexus and my caddi.

Sweet bike. I'm thinking about getting one. I saw a dude add the 5" riser from the Deluxe to his Slim. Looked nice and pulled it back a bit too. If I do buy one I'm thinking about doing a WLA type build. Buy a beat up tank and fenders from Ebay. Paint all that Army green and add some brown bags/gun scabbard.

Why not buy the slim S? It’s the army version, in green with a big star on the tank, and a bigger engine.
