It's a great bike, I came very close to buying one a couple of months ago but in the end went for the ER-6F. I don't regret it.

Just an FYI Cager, the stock levers are adjustable. Also, the gas cap is now hinged. Thanks for the look.

Pretty good city bike, probably a ton of fun at the track too. Lacking power for the highway though for where I live.
@terrabiker8 жыл бұрын
I'll do 130kmh ( max allowed highway speed where i live ) with ease , tops out 180kmh with CB500X. I really don't understand what power does this bike lack for highway use.
@2wheelsonly6148 жыл бұрын
parkourviewer max is 110 mph
@BeachJedi1018 жыл бұрын
Exactly, when you cruise around at 75-85mph, its just slightly underpowered. I like cruising at low rpm, not winding the hell out of it everyday.
@gregoryaparker8 жыл бұрын
It's got enough power for the highway where I live.. here we call it the Autobahn. If you're driving anywhere else other than here in Germany then you have power to spare...lol.
@TheGillederais8 жыл бұрын
Gregory A. Parker Sr. yes autobahn if you live in sydney, australia, max motorway speed is 110km, thats mostly interstate. for cities motorway max is 90km.

Hey There.... was looking at R3 to start my motorcycling career, but have been leaning towards the CBR500R now. You have an opinion on which is a better 1st bike? I'm 5'11" and 180lbs. Thanks in advance! Ride safe.
@timothyreynolds30057 жыл бұрын
my opinion the cb500r I have one great all round bike sold my vfr1200 and had this great gearbox and smooth fueling top speed 116 better then yamaha

@m.rraghav8178 жыл бұрын
Cager why a rc125 but not a rc200? also from where i am from, this bike is perfect for highways i.e india but honda motorcyles india dont care, the old cbr 250r is still being sold here plus new colours, no cbr 300, or 250rr or 500, also the other models like cb,cbx,etc never make it here :(

Are you using countersteering to turn?
@terrabiker8 жыл бұрын
Is there any other way to turn on a motorcycle ?
@tomasandersson23818 жыл бұрын
Everyone uses, knowing or not)
@sidrolf8 жыл бұрын
TerraBiker hey dude I'm a beginner and the thought of conscious counter steering scares me. To me in the video it wasn't very obvious if he was turning the other way to turn the other way haha. Freaky concept!!
@sidrolf8 жыл бұрын
Tomas Andersson yeah haha, it's active countersteering that blows my mind
@terrabiker8 жыл бұрын
Well , you have to look on it in reverse , make it your friend instead. There's nothing to be afraid of. It saves lives , not take them. And if you didn't watch it yet , take a look on the Twist of the wrist 2 , as a beginner , repeat 3 times a week , that should do just fine :D And try try try.... ;)

I think i can hear the fairing or something vibrating on high rpm (e.g 02:34 ) thats what i dont like on some honda models Its getting annoying after a while
@blipco57 жыл бұрын
The fuel consumption meters read way low on this bike. These bikes get between 60 and 70 MPG.

Sleepingdragon 1 thing is, the Ninja 650 2017 might only cost 600eur more, with assist and slipper clutch, also available to get a free ecu flash for the A2 license (48hp) and later flash it back to 68hp. think they weigh the same also. around the 193-195kg mark. the CBR500R increased its price way too much over here to recommend it now :/ even if it got better adjustable levers, new design, better sounding stock exhaust, improved front suspension. i mean 7300eur is a tough one to swallow.
@captainjack10298 жыл бұрын
Chase might have done it first, but they both cover points that each of them didn't. I might be wrong, but I recall Chase didn't mention about the head lights and tyres, whereas Cager didn't mention about big piece fairings, big pegs and etc.
