As good as it sounds revving while stationary....the sound is REALLY incredible when you are accelerating. The engine really starts to open up at 2500 rpm. You don't even have to get on it hard and it sounds like all hell is breaking lose. If you are the shy type this is NOT the car for you.

I have this exact car in same classic white… drove 911, bought the Jag. This car is a beast. I only drive on weekends but the experience is so exhilarating, I find myself driving it to work on occasion…. Nothing like it…. And I’ve driven the SL550 and AMG, Lexus SC 430, Cadillac XLR…. I intended on graduating to the 911, test drove both, bought the F-Type right then and there……

I'm in love with this car. Easily the most beautiful car on the market, and it sounds amazing! I wish I could get this in RWD, 6 speed manual, hydraulic power steering, and, of course, the supercharged V8. I also wish I could afford it!

Brian Haddad This is a V8 mate. When it has the V6, it is the best sounding V6 till date. No GT-R or anything sounds as passionate or as good as the V6 version. Not even the crappy M4.

The F-Type is such a great car! The "R" is ludicrous, though. And I mean this in the best way possible. If I were to get an F-Type, I'd have the V6 S as a daily drive. Great video as usual! +1

OmG. Beautiful. I wouldnt bother. I have problems with my current Jaguar as I drive like an old man. However, if I wasnt the driving equivalent of a hospice, I would get one of these.

***** well, in Europe it's still available with RWD. It's just for the US market. Maybe too many accidents, idk. It really is a beast with just RWD. But unless the R Convertible is RWD (in the US), they lose me as potential customer :/

+Kaipeternicolas I just tested a new one today at a small autocross set up by Jaguar. It had good turn in, was steerable with the throttle, and was still willing to oversteer on power -- even with the nannies on. The biggest problem I had was the lack of feedback, but I have that issue with most new cars. As far as new cars go it wasn't too bad. Also, I didn't test the carbon-ceramic brakes, but I felt like the stock brakes were lacking a bit of initial bite.
