You mentioned Ipc taking a long time to flash. I assume you have some experience with this. Do you know if it’s possible to install and reprogram a used ipc and set the correct mileage? Thanks Joe

super sorry for the late response , this message slipped through the cracks ,my apologies. A used cluster may work , I am not 100% sure. I know that the auto pro pad tool has done many mileage adjustments for me on non Fiat platforms.

Hey Brian!Nice video!I have a Question..I just bought a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and took it to a shop for a general checkup.The mechanic say he needs to update all these modules before working on it needs 4 module updates.He is charging me $130 for each module update! I want to know if its a standart practice or is he trying to rip me off?Is it necessary to updates these modules before working on it?Can I update them “free”?

Well it all depends on the shop and their procedures, I know for a fact some of the Chrysler cluster can take up to 6 hours to program (2017 renegade) I personally do charge for each module but more for the 1st and less for the rest... Depending on the issue you are having it may be necessary or recommended by service information or TSB's to update the modules.

I was asking because I had a 2016 jeep cherokee with the tcm that mounts on outside of transmission, used tcm would not accept a new flash part number I was screaming and hollering at my laptop, eventually I put a new tcm and programmed successfully... I will try with this one because I noticed on your video witech let you change part number... Unfortunately new zf valve body is on national backorder.. Thanks alot...And great video ....

Question....isn't the start button removable (can be popped out) and then operate with the key behind the button during programming and then program the button at the end and done???

I really need help with my wife’s 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6. We first had problems when she was leaving work and the car slowly came to a stop and the tranny put itself in park and it locked itself as well. I had to disconnect the battery in order for it to unlock and be able drive and reset itself. Now whenever we wash the car and underneath gets wet we have all these problems again. It shows the back door is open and brake lights and headlights stop working. I scanned the check engine light and it said the Canbus code. Which the Tcm and pcm both are in the problem. Can you please help.

Red generally means it's not communicating, orange would be not responding,, check connections

Tried to program a PCM. Couldn't log into witch 2.0 After 2 hours on the phone, told them I was calling my mobile tech guy. Was stuck on authenticator for 3 hours. Then they have the nerve to tell me no refunds. So if you can't even log in, they still keep the $50? Nope. Fighting with my bank now

wow sorrry to hear about your issues, witech is a bit challenging to est up for the first time, registering the tool, assigning user etc..

@@BrianMann216 I had already done all of that from last year. The story they gave me was that because I switch to the new iPhone 12 Pro, all my Authenticator log ins were with that phone. Even after they reset it, I still couldn’t get passed Authenticator. Laptop was already registered. I almost bought a techauthority sub, but luckily since I didn’t use IE, it never went thorough. So they couldn’t even log me in because of Authenticator. Lol. Garbage

@@BrianMann216 I have complained to the company through many email along with calling them. It’s ridiculous at this day and age that you can’t even log in to a service you paid for. 2 hours on the phone and no solution is ridiculous. :/

@@ThEmEsSiAh187-CFGeorge this is frustrating, try moving over to Authy, it’s a little more transportable when it comes to migrating to new devices. I went through all this a year or so ago and moved everything over which included over a dozen logins.
