His bike isn't an accurate representation of the H2 as a stock package. You can flash an R1 or a 2017 GSXR 1000 to be faster than a stock H2. It weighs almost 100lbs more than a R1 which can be tuned to 190hp and 84ftlbs of torque (it can go higher but you need to start making engine modifications).
@KrestenGiese7 жыл бұрын
+OspreyBravo18 You're right. I seen a video of a turbocharged R1 and that thing did wheelies when he gave it a little bit of throttle, in a high gear!

So the myth goes that the Japanese companies had a secret meeting after the ZX14 and agree to not make any larger displacement superbikes. Seems Kawasaki was like fine, we won't make a larger engine. Then one of the engineers was like, "Hey guys... wanna put a supercharger on a tuned ZX10 engine?" Kawasaki might need an intervention.
@ethanlancaster767 жыл бұрын
James Bird very true and I don't think most people know that Kawasaki has been making those superchargers for years. They've been using the same supercharger on their Jet Ski and little jet boats. I think it was just a matter of timing, as you pointed out with the 'busa and the ZX14r steadily gaining displacement, before they came with an idea that was probably kicked around for some years. I think a ZX10r with the supercharged motor is lurking around the R&D at Kawasaki. I disagree with the extra weight being necessary to make it rideable, especially with all of the rider aides and electronics that are being used now. A Moto GP bike is around the same HP with A LOT less weight. That being said, there's only a small percentage of people that are even capable of handling that much bike on a track, and it's already a ridiculous bike for the street. It's definitely not a track bike but more of a hyper cruiser like the ZX14,12 the Hayabusa, and the Blackbird. I love the way it looks but it's IMHO a great marketing move to make it immediately stand apart from the ZX10r, and ANY OTHER motorcycle on the planet. I'm seeing guys make the H2(R) street legal and easily getting a hundred more HP because of the amount of air intake and the supercharger is uncorked a lot more. If I were in the market for a bike like that I would probably go that route versus putting the money in upgrades on the H2. If you want to see an insanely ridiculous bike for the street then you should check out the street legal H2R that a dude with a bucket full of balls modified. There are a few now but I think he was the first person to do it and he explains the difference between the two better than anyone else I have heard. I don't know the name of his channel unfortunately but he's not hard to find. Nice video Chase, much better than the 13 year old mentality of do it with daniel review. 👍✌️
@oso11657 жыл бұрын
please get your facts straight. the hp was not limited to 280. it was limited to advertising above 276. and the first company to break it was Honda with the v6 accord in 2005.
@patthonsirilim57397 жыл бұрын
yea but you gotta admit the zx14r and the hayabusa is a much faster bike from a dig and easier to lunch then then modern super bike like the panig s1k r1 they handle there power much better thanks to the weight and wheelbase sure everyone wants a knife edge god of handling bike but the truth is most street rider wont knee down or transit from bend to bend like race bike on track therefore that advantage sometime make the bike a little nervous at time during high speed lets be honest a zx14r will not go faster then s1000rr but it sure feels alot more stable doing those speed stock a haya and stock zx14 have been cracking mid 9 easy while the s1k would struggle to crack 10 all down to traction and ease of control sure we want a light weight bike but to be honest with you i rather not have bike get any lighter then this like some panigale superlegerra are 180kg fully field 220hp machine there are great and bike but far to unforgiving
@Übereine7 жыл бұрын

@patthonsirilim57397 жыл бұрын
technically the h2 did not break any gentlemen agreement there was nothing on hp just top speed since a stock h2 is only geared to 300 kph and indicators dont show speed above 299 the h2r that goes beyond that is not a street legal bike so not binding in the agreement and the company dont advertise the bike will go any faster then that sure there will be some that say if you swap the sprocket on the bike the bike it will easily do 200mph and beyond yeah but that wont be a stock bike anymore and that same thing goes to all the super bike since the early 2000 any super bike from the year 2000 and onward will go 200mph with a appropriate tuned and ratio i mean a bicycle can do 200mph with a rocket strap up its ass as long as the company is not the one doing it is fined same story with the m5 the e60 goes 207 mph the f12 goes 186 with m driving package even the new 600 hp m5 goes 186mph

Yo Chase the emblem on the front is the River Mark i found this on H2.com . The River Mark is a long-time Kawasaki symbol that dates back to the 1870s. When founder Shozo Kawasaki was running his shipping business, he created a flag with a stylised version of the character “river”-the first character in the name Kawasaki-which he flew from the ships he owned. The emblem came to be called the “River Mark” and was adopted as the symbol of the KHI Group, expressing the company’s technology, originality and innovation.
