2016 Lexus LS 600h L interior tour part 2 - the luxurious back seat

This is part 2, part 1 shows the front seats and driver controls.
I spent an amazing week in the 2016 Lexus LS 600h L (www.lexus.com/models/LS-hybrid), the flagship luxury sedan from Lexus. With a hybrid drive motor connected to a 5.0L V8, the car is amazingly powerful, with decent fuel economy. The test car I had was equipped with the optional Executive Class Seating option, featuring private jet-like seats. Both seats recline and one features Shiatsu massage and an ottoman. Here's a tour of the back seat and all its wonderful features.

I had this for 7 months and have 70 thousand miles on it. Using the 600h L for Uber. Amazing has mileage amazing reliability. Messed up the rims a little and hit the curb with my door twice. Got the debt popped out.

Very cool, I could see driving that all day, it's not a bad place to be. I was very impressed with the whole experience and only got to ride in the back on my last day with the car. It was amazing on my road trip to Palm Springs. Enjoy it!

I think that's what separates it from a similar Jaguar or Bentley, that rock solid Lexus reliability. Also that it will be just as reliable at 100K miles

Dieses Auto war so perfekt das es nicht zu verbessern war.Ein V8 mit Hybrid gabs danach nicht mehr.Die Kunst des Innenraums ist vom Feinsten,mehr Edel geht nicht.Aus meiner Sicht ist er besser als der Nachfolger. Und der Nachfolger kann man trotzdem als Bestes Auto der Welt bezeichnen.

The rear cubby area behind the center arm rest, and below the dvd player, is a chill box for bottled water or champagne. Not just another storage area! Blows in cold air from AC system. At least that is how it works in my ls430 UL.

Suggest you go through the switches in the back seat before umming and erring. When you open the door between the seats there is a cooler which he didn't even know about.

Those two “huge speakers” at rear seat are not speaker sir, they are one of the most important and exclusive feature of Lexus as part of AC system, which scatters wind in order to prevent cold wind directly blow toward passenger’s head which could cause uncomfortableness.

No, I don't think so, you can only get this with a Lexus. You can order an Avalon Limited with all the luxury options but it doesn't have the reclining rear seats or the rear center console. It does have beautiful leather seats with real wood and aluminum trim. Also, this car is stretched a little bit, to give the rear passengers more legroom. If you crash hard your rear passengers knees would go through their face if the legrest is up. Seatbelts wont prevent your legs from being pushed back if your legs are elevated.

It didn't have a really modern feel like Benz and BMW, but it didn't feel or look dated either. Kind of classic. I think they are upgrading the LS for 2018, they just made some announcements about it at the LA Auto Show.

This interior was completely redesigned from when this bodystyle came out in 07. You have no idea what your talking about. Taste and appearance are so subjective it's hilarious. So only BMW and Mercedes have a modern look? A 2016 7 series looks just like a 2010. They S class was updated for 2016 but they look very similar in my opinion regarding styling just upgraded technology and finishings.

Marquiisee What's the difference between this and a maybach really? they both use high quality materials, both are spacious and for sure both will be super quiet. I don't think there's that much difference between this apart from may be the fridge and wine glass option which I'm sure u can get with the lexus as well. This Lexus is superb and I think believe the lexus will be quieter than the maybach. Lexus is known for having the smoothest and quietest ride in the industry.

There I think you are right. I haven't driven a g90, but this is very Japanese feeling. This also has the extended rear seating area and the luxury reclining seats, I'm not sure if there's an extended G90. You can get the Lexus without the extended rear seating and that car would be cool to compare to the Hyundai.

It's a different car. Some people want a more subtle luxury vehicle than a Mercedes. It's also about $50K less than a comparably equipped S-class.
