I have a R56 Cooper S, really love the feeling of driving that little bastard. I also tried the new gen MINI and is 1000 times better. If i have the chance to get a new car, it will also be a MINI.

I don't know if it's just me, but the trunk looks tiny. 48.7 mpg sounds good, will have to add this to my list with the Focus ST, Golf GTI, and Subaru WRX.

+AJ Z. It is quite deceiving. There is underfloor storage, which helps, but the boot is actually larger than that of a Focus.

Quite deceiving indeed! I like the exhaust sound too. They need to work on those headlights though, too round for my taste lol.

You can't really compare this car with a Golf GTi my wife bought clubman cooper s late last year and rejected it after it had been back to the dealer for the 13th time for various problems. It had so many problems that we done under 500 miles. She now has a GTi and the difference is night and day. Yes the GTi is more expensive but it has much better spec.

Mini Cooper should get rid of those buttons on that circular infotainment system and just make it all screen. I think it would be nice

I know I'm digging the video back up again but out of curiosity did you get to drive the Clubman Cooper S with the Manual 'Box? I know the Cooper S hatch has Rev-matching in manual guise so I was just wondering if the Clubman S did too?

I drove the diesel with a manual, but not Cooper S. I'm pretty sure it does have rev matching too.
