Something is just going on with Belmo, it's like he's not the same bowler, it's like he's not in his prime... hope he fixes what's wrong!

position(the edge of left side bowls parallel with edge of left side pin) +deep center5-9=strike (not rev and speed) because when dry oil (rev can destroy speed and ball cannot deep to the pocket, it turn to the lift

Although Belmo's lost weight, I think it's his beard and v-neck that makes everyone think he's fallen off. Honestly I think he just had a stellar three years and is now coming back down to earth. He can't win every tournament. The fact that he's been in so many telecasts this year is pretty good in itself

I don't like belmonte, he's cocky and he is not the best bowler in the world. The expression "step his throat" comes from, wanting to expand the lead and run away with it, instead that open kept it a close match until belmonte went 5 through the middle.

Dylan Glascok If the greatest in the world for the past 3-4 years is just "some guy," then what does that make every other bowler? Lmao. He didn't "give away the title," he pured the shots when he needed to but didn't anticipate the breakdown. There was no signs of breakdown before the final frames, so he couldn't have saw it coming. As for straighter is greater ... a person who thinks that a rev-dominate bowler with 500+ rpms would benefit from a straighter trajectory on a US Open-esque pattern just simply doesn't understand the sport.
@DaveBais8 жыл бұрын
said some guy cause not to spoil anything.. he was to deep.. just like against pete weber some years ago in a major.. last week.. bad carry the first frame.. should have been a heads up.. when u get bucket and nose... u r to deep.. when rash can go straight im sure the best bowler in the world can do it to.. even with 500 rpm.. when sean is like 420 i dont think that makes 15 boards difference... belmo screws hisself sometimes thinking its best having the left part of the lane to him self.. in this case.. sean is the smarter bowler.. maybe not the best.. but he claims the title..

+Storm Bowling Dave Bais On US-Open, you don't move off of taps. It's hard enough to hit the pocket nonetheless manipulate entry angle. That's why Tackett lost his look, he TRIED to make the ball strike instead of being grateful that he was in the pocket. Also there's more that goes into ball reaction than just rev rate. Sean's roll is much more end-over-end, his ball speed was a lot higher in this show, etc. Belmo playing in had nothing to do with having the inside to himself. Tackett played in, and also with everyone carving a look aroud the track (Malott's an exception) then the inside would seem ideal for any player coming in for the title match, regardless of rev rate. Plus it's hard for someone who played in all week to make a split-second decision to move out for a one-game match, especially if there's no reason to. Furthermore, the reason that Malott, Rash, and Daugherty even decided to play as far out as they did was because they knew that they wouldn't be able to beat Tackett or Belmo at their A-game. Had you replaced those two with lower rev rate bowlers, then there's no doubt that Rash, Daugherty and Malott all would have moved in to 5th arrow. In the long run, it's a one game match. Anything can happen. Rash could have experienced the same breakdown that Belmo did and it woulda been 160-150. Bowling is just like that. The cream rises to the top over long formats, but when it's a one game match, it's more in the hands of God then it is the bowlers (i.e. Daugherty being undefeated against Belmo). More what I'm trying to say is that it's easy for spectators to critique the best bowlers in the world, and it's sad when people let a crap-shoot one-game match overshadow the performance that they gave all week long to even get to the show.

159, 161, 203 on a pro circuit.. I minus well just watch people bowl at Las Vegas bowling alleys.. That was just bad bowling.. My gawd..

because people bowling on city house shots (easiest shots known to man) is comparable to the bear pattern

Jay Jay The Bear oil pattern vs. a typical house shot. You're comparing apples and oranges.
@jdamage50028 жыл бұрын
In the house since of bowling your right but. These guys have bowled on a BEAR Pattern more than once and at least a 100 games. I'm sure. And if not, then why call them pros? This was a pathetic showing of professional bowling.. As they know to either move right, left or flatten out.. Its a simple bowling pattern And I'm sure these SPONSORED bowlers can practice it at there practice centers..
@jdamage50028 жыл бұрын
Lol sorry if your a pro you get access to bowl on these hard patterns.. So as I said, lies poor performance so stop taking up for poor performance on tv.. Hear, badger or house, there is no excuse when your pro. Period..
