I would love to buy one of you trucks at around the 500k mark! I've got an '04 3500 with only 210k on it and it's had more work done than that '16. 😅

Great video! What kind of tires do you like to run? How many miles are you averaging per set?

Hello partner I’ve watched many many hours of your videos and just love them. I also have a 2016 ram 3500. I change my oil myself consistently. I’m curious, I have 125,00 on it now and have never changed anything but oils, & dif fluid. Should I take it to a good shop and get things like, belt, water pump, tension pulley, coolant. I’m trying to just help prevent being broken down on the side of the road. Any suggestion will help. Keep up the great work partner.

I'll buy one of your trucks lol you take better care of your rigs than 90% of the stuff that comes through the shop

You mentioned on this truck the master cylinder went out. I'm having a weird issue with my truck I can't figure out. Getting noise, thought it was the power steering pump. Replaced it and it keeps getting worse. Could it be the hydro Boost? You can feel it in the steering and brakes. If the truck idles for a 15 20 minutes then you get back on the road it makes all kinds of noise. Like cavitation.
@huero6232 жыл бұрын
Have you had motor mount issues with other trucks? I'm at 265k now and in the past 6 months I've lost 3 passenger side mounts. Everything else looks good so can't figure it out. Also do you have a DPF cleaning schedule or just let the Regens take care of it?

I could be wrong but it sounds like its been deleted. I have a 2019 and still has the Aftertreatment system and it sounds much quieter.

Do you ever pull an oil sample and send it off for testing to validate your engine oil change intervals? Not saying 15-20k is too much, just curious.
@thepeeve2 жыл бұрын
Yup they do. They actually had a truck that got overdue for service and it ended up getting an oil change at 28k. They sent the oil sample out and they said the oil was still good for at least another 5k
@kylestahler73592 жыл бұрын
@@thepeeve thanks for the reply, that’s crazy! Oil tech has come a long way. I send off a sample each change and they keep telling me to go longer, I’m currently going on 15k and will change at 17.
@thepeeve2 жыл бұрын
@@kylestahler7359 yeah oil is a different level than what we remember. I have a ‘21 3500 Ho/Aisin and just change it at 15k every time

I have the exact truck and year model that is my simple daily driver other than when I tow my 5th wheel . From day one I’ve changed the oil every 7000 miles with full synthetic. Maybe I could go a little further.

Paul I have a 2017 2500 tradesman Cummins G56 6 spd with every option but leveling. It's got 66,000 miles oil changed every 6,000 miles used full synthetic day one been undercoated for the first four years I live in Michigan no rust that I can find. I need to sell it. I've become disabled have no income and about to be forclosed on. Trying to sell it before the mortgage company takes it as a asset and gets nothing for it at a auction.

I washed my butt cheeks and hopped into the 35000 pulled a load 100 thousand ton with a broken motor mount and I cringe at the Ford/Chevy V-8 diesel. Wait what converted a gas motor to diesel ok that should pull and be reliable. Ram Babby old and inline 6 boosted that is the ticket, 30 psi boost wait for it and bamm baby more power than you can shake a stick at. Got 40 thousand pound of magical mushroom going to Idaho right now
