1. New Dodge Cummins are more common in the shop due to the DEF system implemented and causing issues with the system.(3 mechanics all 10-20+ years of experience, most common truck to go through the dealerships with issues are new DEF added trucks 2. 40K miles on a truck with dirt under it.... come on now, a truck is meant for that. It runs and tows like it should now. Fuel mileage averages are 19 city and 25 hwy when I’m not towing.

Why would Chrysler go with a different diesel when they have the best and only true diesel on the market?? I say true, because Cummins motors are the only motors originally designed for use in heavy equipment and machinery. GM and ford motors were only designed for use in pickups.

I have tan in my Longhorn interior and it actually HIDES stains, because it’s bright colored. Kind of like how a white vehicle hides dirt better than a black vehicle. And as for the 68rfe, it’s a fine transmission if you don’t tow super heavy or go way beyond stock power. I use an efi live tow tune and tow 7500lbs. No problems at 101k so far.
