I fucking love that rocket bunny fd with the rx3(?) front end. Can't believe you guys didn't!
@speedacademy8 жыл бұрын
We're not normally purists, but the FD just looks so good with its long nose, the way this kit shortens the nose of the car throws the proportions off, at least to our tired old eyes ;) But a lot of people seemed to love the RX3 kit, so you're not alone!
@mitchellrobertson158 жыл бұрын
That's a fair assessment, and I absolutely love the shape of the fd. I'm not normally a fan of the rocket bunny kit of them - but this? The front end ties it all in for me. The square front lends well to the wide flares and I love the fusion of classic and modern styling.

I work for Detroit Speed in Mooresville, NC. We manufacturing suspension components for a whole host of early and late USDM vehicles; it'd be a blast to work with you guys on something!
@speedacademy8 жыл бұрын
Awesome, thanks Chad! We were just talking at SEMA that we need to build a mid 80s IROC Z. We'll be in touch if we man up and get us one.
@Omlin_NA8 жыл бұрын
It's not hard to get 3rd and 4th gen F-bodies rolling on a square 315 setup, so that'd be a great choice! In the meantime I'll continue enjoying your awesome content. Keep up the good work!

The Holley Mustang also features a full Detroit Speed suspension with JRi coilovers. The owner plans to beat the piss out of it in the Optima Ultimate Streetcar series next season.

That lambo looks like it is missing a clamp for the coupler going to the intercooler on the right side turbo (3:00). All that money put into that car and they forget something so obvious and simple.

wouldn't two ls motor make a v16 and not a v12?
@boost3d8318 жыл бұрын
GODSGUNSGLORY not necessarily, depends how they splice them. guess they could only use 3 out of 4 cylinders each side
@CrossWindsPat8 жыл бұрын
L series. Not LS

it said ls blocks.the l series was the datsun with that crazy head on it

Not going to lie, that first 86 looked like a Dodge Dart from a fast glance.... Lol
@rogerramjet50928 жыл бұрын
that was an AMC 'AMX" NOT Javalin were 4 seaters . While the AMX was strictly 2 seater. Also 2 LS mated would be a v-16ie:8+8=16 just sayin.
@speedacademy8 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the clarification about the AMC, as for the LS, the owner took two block cut them dropping the last two cylinders and made the V12 hence why Pete said two LS blocks mated.
@itzzToon8 жыл бұрын
lol it seems I'm not the only one that wasn't on the RocketBunny bandwagon. They have a few good kits, but most of them are hard to look at. The NSX in particular hurts my soul.

Ya, we're not fans of the NSX kit either. Some cars are already perfect :D
