Good stuff dude! Thanks for the SSM4 and STIS tutorials! I'm an Indy Subaru tech, and I know what you mean about the loud music, drives me nutz. Maybe I missed it, will watch the video again, but were you able to determine what made the fuse fail?

A shop needed to replace the ECU behind the glove box. Instead they unplugged the BIU by the brake pedal. Everything plugged up right so they thought it was installed correctly. I was shocked to discover the BIU plugs and ECU plugs are not keyed

@@baja-automotive Bent pins in the connectors, short-circuited?

@@hnd2893 No bent pins. On this car the ECU and BIU have identical plugs. Most likely because they have the same motherboard, just different eprom chips. Thankfully all they did was pop a fuse. They could’ve fried the new ECU
