Old time secret. Take a bernz-o-matic torch or an acetylene torch and go around the disk a few times. Don't worry, they're able to get darn hot. Now it'll usually come right off. Often it doesn't take a whole lot.

If you mix distilled water and baking soda and you pour that over corroded terminals, it will eat it right off.

subaru blamed my car of draining the battery because of an after market hitch installed, even though THEY reinstalled it 5 years ago after I was rear-ended. Took the DCM fuse out and have had No more battery drain.

The only thing u need to do: spray up the threads on both sensor and exhust with brake cleaner or injector cleaner,then wipe it with toothbrush and spray one more time.all clear and youre gtg.

After market battery terminals means nothing like you made it sound. It was the lack of attemtion the crap stock ones had at reterminaling them to the battery. They did try, but not exactly succeded greatly. I use marine ones on my 06. Silverado. U dont wear them out pulling jiuce from the truck when disconnecting batt before work and they are great alternatuve ti side post screw in type that suck. So in my opinion aftermarket are better when used correctly. Ill even make a vid if anyone needs.. And seems to been starter issues for some reason nothing to do w terminals.although there was a loose wire at terminal ..

That year and model Cvt transmission has a tech service bulletin for oil leaking from the front of the transmission and it recommends you to remove transmission and reseal front oil pump and transmission.

I feel misled after having bought a 2012 impreza brand new in 2011. I was under the impression Subaru had rally heritage and made durable quality cars that would last if run normally. I used to have an average daily commute up until 2019 and it's only got shy of 50k miles on it to this day. Recall work on it somewhere around 2018-19 for that head gasket or whatever, that took weeks for them to do. I took it to the dealer for service regularly up until that recall. I once had to hit the gas on an expressway to try to merge away from some obstruction in my lane and all I got out of it was grinding noises, probably the CVT crumbling. Now I hear this shitty rattling sound at certain RPM/transmission ratio combos. I've started doing my own maintenance, tire changes, oil/coolant changes, I'll figure out brake pads when that day comes. I can no longer afford the overpriced preventativeless nothingness and rude desk service that SUBARU OF MERRILLVILLE/ZEIGLER SUBARU was doing. Bascially I'm sticking with it because I don't trust anything is of any quality anymore. I'd buy some other car and that will have its own problems, so what's the point. Locked in a world of capitalist degenerative shit.

My rotors didn’t have those holes, but i managed to find a hole on the wheel hub just behind the rotor that i could slide a bolt through. Fastened a nut onto the bolt between the hub and rotor, then tightened it down to function like a press. Popped that rotor right off (literally, it was quite loud when the rust finally broke)
