Great vid. I think I got lucky. I bought a used 2016 Model X 90D after driving a Model 3 the last several years. No creaks, no squeaks, no half shaft rumble. Super clean interior.

Squeeks and rattles over time are due to the fact that Teslas are mostly held together by plastic clips. Over time they will wear. I've found if you replace those connectors it can help a great deal.

Wife and I just purchased a 2016 Model X 75D with 90k miles. One owner in impeccable condition. Both Interior and exterior still looks new. I cautioned my wife there would be battery degradation and after we talked we were ok with thst as we would only use it for around town and such being this was pur first electric vehicle. Couldn't find anything like it for $25k OTD. Wife and the kids, coworkers and friemds love thw the falcon doors and the expansive Interior space. When i get to drive it, lol, I like it too. 😂 She very protective of the vehicle. Don't blame her. Depending on our experience with this car in a couple years when I retire I will buy her a new model X. So far it's been good. Oh not much squeks or rattles in ours except the steering wheel make a sound liek you're rubbing a finger across a wet window. Kind of like a squeegee sound. Very wuiet but noticeable. Doesn't affect the drivng though. Doors are kimda lour when openeng. No clunks when turning or going over bumps. Pretty good considering it's age.

Great review. This helped out a lot. I am considering a 2016 with low miles and have observed some of these issues, which does provide me with more confidence when thinking about buying, especially from someone who is a first time Tesla buyer.

That might be suspension issues you’re hearing. Tesla has rectified that issue and some 2016’s have been outfitted with the new suspension and front axel.

75k mile loaner??? Crazy... I have a 16' 90D. No active spoiler :-( I very much like the ventilated seats. It works well but it takes a few minutes to be effective. If you don't have them on you really feel hot on the black leather. I got mine used and it must be a unicorn because all things work perfectly. Even the buttons for the FWD work great. (old style) Great videos! Got mine in June. Picked it up from Paramus Tesla! 39k with a 4yr/50k warranty... so like I'm good for 4 years anyway. :-)

traded in my model 3 for a used 2017 model x 75D and im actually happier than i thought with it. I upgraded to MCU2 and to a vegan steering wheel and I absolutely love it. The range on the 75D is actually better than I thought. I had a SR+ and its actually quite similar range wise although the SR+ has a smaller battery and is more efficient but you know that to begin with. The extra size and experience is well worth the extra money. I would never buy a new model x because we got a model y and a used model x for the price in a way for a new model x. that being said our model x came with FSD and we just got HW3 installed.

FYI I was about to replace the falcon wing door buttons by asking Tesla to replace it and the specialist I talk to said they are actually covered by warranty so if the buttons fail on their own they actually have to replace it with the upgraded buttons. So heres to hoping they fail...
