Best car I ever owned. I bought a 2014 Prius c 4 used with 25 k miles for $13 k out the door in 2016. Now in 2020 I have over 150k miles and no issues. I'm on fourth set of tires and I change oil every 3k miles. Everyone wanted SUVs. I've actually boosted the fuel economy to 56 mpg by reducing the drag of the undercarriage. I also modified it for use as a pure Sine 3kW AC generated to power my house when CA shuts off the power due to lack of electrons. I once used for a 2 week period and averaged about 5 gallons of gas per day to power home. I gas generator uses 24 gallons per day. Also I cruise 85 mph between LA and Phoenix AZ in 120 heat with full AC all of the time no problem passing electric cars all the way. Poor e car people are sweating and stressed out. I also gas and go in 5 minutes, poor e car folks have to wait in line just to plug in to wait for some electrons to flow.

I have this model in a lower trim level (2016 Prius C-1), and I am thrilled with it. I bought it used at a great price, and I agree, there's something about this car that makes a person fall in love with it. ;) And it's cute!

We bought a used 2018 Prius C Two and you're totally right! Sadly the 2018 isn't as fuel efficient than before. (46 mpg rated)

@@EdPMur Really? why is it less efficient?

Mr. Manley: Just slap the biggest fresnel lens you can find to the rear glass, you will be seeing a whole lot more.

I love everything about mine its just I got it used so it lacks cruise control and I wish it was alloy wheels
@Bonanzoo4 жыл бұрын
You can do both! I installed cruise control with $20 wiring and switch off eBay. I just left the stock steel wheels on there but could update them to alloy anytime.
@ZombieCraftSlaya4 жыл бұрын
Sami Amor I watched a video on doing the cruise control myself Im just hesitant because of removing the air bag, ill probably eventually do it tho, I also installed a aftermarket armrest tho
@Bonanzoo4 жыл бұрын
Clone Trooper I swear the air bag is the easiest part of the process lol. The wiring was the hardest part. I also just installed an after market arm rest. Lastly, I just sewed on a leather steering wrap. Looks and feels really good. Lastly, instead of alloys, check out the 2 tone black/silver hub caps. The ones they put on the Prime.

Storage galore is a bit of a stretch. In fact I wish I could trade mine for a Prius V to gain a little more cargo space.

Thanks for a great review. I am debating a used one with under 35k miles. 2014 seems affordable enough for me. Any changes? Also considering a Prius Plug in, earlier model.

djkenny thx for the props!👍🏼 No planned changes on Prius c ...2015 saw a refresh mostly exterior related. As for Prius PlugIn, I owned a 2013 and it was phenomenal. I highly recommend.

I was thinking, I seldom drive more than 20 miles in a day. The rare long road trip, too. I actually bike to get most places, but once a week I might venture further out, and 1 other day drive to take care of some things. I actually prefer the size of the C. I have always had small cars. Sold my little Sprint Turbo in 2010! Had it since 93! I own a 92 VW GTI 16v, I like it, had along with the Sprint since 1999..but I might want a 4 door with the 2 little kids. I love fuel efficiency. Reliability, too. I even considered a new Mitsubishi Mirage. I am finding some crazy deals and I test drove on, it made it to 50 mpg on the freeway. I think it could have gone further, over 55 mpg.

djkenny Get the Prius c. You'll like the way it drives over the Prius PlugIn. I almost went with a Prius c over my PlugIn simply because the Prius c was much more fun to drive. I think you'll love it and especially when you gas up.
@djkenny12027 жыл бұрын
I wish there was a Plug in. The C is much more my style of car. I love the Orange, btw. I considered a Spark EV, too. Perfect size. Fast. No Gas. Price used is so good. But longer trips... still debating. Lots to think about :)

Most of the "leather" is actually a synthetic type developed by toyota, not real leather.

Our 2016 C is white and loving it. The jack is the weakest link in this auto; it twisted on us once, so done with it. We never see orange Cs in California.
