I own the Prius V, which is the largest Prius of the Prius line up. I test drove the regular Prius 3rd gen which felt cramped due to the floating console. I test drove the C recently and I was blown away how much more roomy it is inside once you sit in it. I'm 6ft, around 220lb and I didn't feel cramped at all. The back seats felt comfortable, even with my driver seat adjusted to my height. And with my back issues, the driver seat surprisingly had great back support. The car itself didn't feel sluggish compared to the V and it was actually pretty fun to drive. Car has a bit of pep to it when you need it in my opinion.

I've had the 2015 model for about 8 months now, and it has its ups and downs. Pros: Great gas mileage in the city, easy to maneuver around corners, and does pretty good in the snow. Great visibility due to LED lights, daytimes are LED too as well as high beams. Cons: very slow, something like, 0-60 in 11 seconds. Therefore this makes it very sketchy when merging into the highway or overtaking. very little legroom if you're taller than let's say 5'11 for anyone sitting in the back.

I'm 6' and we have the 2018 model. Legroom is pretty decent for me, but I cannot ride comfortably in the back seat if the front seat is all the way back. If you move the front seat to the front just a little, it's totally okay. Headroom is good in the back tho

Penelope416 I have used my 2015 Prius C to drive Uber for 3 years. Car now has 267,000 kms. Apart from a couple of headlight bulbs, there have been zero issues. Serviced by the dealer I bought it from since new, they tell me it still has 70% of its original brake pads and shoes. I run michelan tyres, which last a 100,000 kms. Still returns 4.5 l per 100 km.

I drove a 2014 rental version of this, very similar minus the infotainment, and I really do did not see it was a high quality vehicle, I was very disappointed for it being a toyota. I think for this 2016 tweaked the interior a bit like the fit and finish, all for the better, still I feel it could do more for the brand.

I've owned both. The C is bigger. In the Two you can adjust the seats. The Yaris has the worst seats ever created. I stacked cushions to get a tolerable position. The Prius is much more fun figuring out how to maximize mpg.

Space is a problem, comfort is not there .. tried to use it for delivery the seat are a nightmare. If you don't have neck problem, this one will give you that major problem. If you don't have a lower back problem, this one would make it serious for you. only has one cigarette lighter plug, not a major problem spare tire??? no, it's doughnut tire only good for 50 miles the only good thing is gas mileage, but even that get vanished when you look at the price of the vehicle.

In the winter time the Prius makes more use of the has engine since the heat in the vehicle must come from the engine. I had a Prius for three years and found it was a great three season car. Winter was not so great...hard to get the car really warm, and well it is very easy for the car to get stuck in snow due to how low the car is, poor factory tires, and a traction control system that is over sensitive and cannot be turned off. Otherwise, fuel mileage is still very impressive in all seasons, especially summer.

Two words… winter tires. I live in a very snowy region and this car with winter tires gets out of parking lots where the SUVs with all season tires are stuck in place. I drive past all kinds of SUVs stuck in places in the snow and ice, even the police SUVs. Winter tires make a huge difference in any car. I have not noticed any difference in the car heating up and being warm inside the car verses any other car I have owned or ridden in and I just get in it and start driving. I have owned it for nine winters in one of the snowiest metro areas in the US.

15:47 The Energy Monitor is just an approximation of what the car is doing and it's not accurate, for example if you drive at highway speed and lift your foot off the gas, it shows the engine is off while in reality it's running at about 1200rpm, you just can't hear it.

I just bought a 2016 Prius C Three used. The CARFAX report said there was a camera, but it did NOT have one. Luckily for me, the dealer was mortified at the discrepancy and agreed to install a back-up camera at no additional cost. My understanding is that only the “Four” comes with a back-up camera as a standard feature.

That’s not a bad description of the feel of the surface of the steering wheel. I would describe it as a ruffed up “pebbled finish”. I like the finish. I drive a lot of rental cars and it’s just easier to use this steering wheel for its intended purpose. Many cars have steering wheels that are actually rather smooth or even slippery. The Prius C steering wheel surface is very good, even when the driver is wearing gloves in wintertime.

The website isn't very good from my experience. If you live in or near SC let me know... if not here is my suggestion. Find someone that you know personally that had a good experience buying a car from a dealership. Find out who they dealt with and go to them. A good salesperson could help you build the car you want and give you an actual price quote.
