2016 Toyota Rav4 Trailer Wiring Harness Installation

I had mine installed at U-Haul and I noticed that the box is underneath the car when I hooked it up to the trailer The Right blinker signals the left signal to go and the brakes don't work on the trailer nor the running lights

Manuel, because this was installed at a U-Haul location, you have a 3 year wiring warranty. We recommend going back to that location so they can diagnose and fix any issues with your wiring.

@@trailerhitches I recently took my ‘16 Rav4 Hybrid to a Uhaul to get a hitch/wiring install and was told they wouldn’t to the wiring. Their reasoning was it will likely constantly drain the battery and possibly void the warranty.
