For the money a good car which includes a manual shift gate auto. I drove one and was quite impressed with the nimble handling and performance once underway and the basic ergonomics. It has everything a person would need to go from pt. A to B. Once again a pleasant car for the money that will not disappoint on fuel economy as well. This reviewer needs to slow down and calm down a little and get the correct tempo to help gather the information to a better placement with the listener's attention and understanding. Othet than what was mentioned a good video over all.

They did the facelift in 2015. My 2015 Jetta s technology came on 15 inch steel wheels. Also, has a 2.0L 8 valve engine. These cars are MUCH nicer than Corollas from the same period.

I’ll be signing off on a Manual one tomorrow!!!!! Just wanted to check out a few things before I do. It has a 5 speed short throw shifter that has nice crisp shifting. Great review by the way.

Yeah like one of my neighbors that lives down at the end of the ST they oldest daughter drives a black 2013 Volkswagen Jetta S with the old 2.0 Inline 4 from the mk3 Jetta. She has it since bread new 3 years. She still likes it but the right front fender is a little push in and the right front wheel cover is missing. But other then that she still loves her Jetta.

My Dad has one of these cars. It's pretty much the same, except that his Jetta is grey instead of black, it has satellite radio, a backup camera, a power outlet in the back, cruise control and it also has heated seats. As I said before, the Canadian Jettas have more options than the US spec Jettas, including the base models. The Volkswagen Jetta is one of the best new cars that money can buy and it's great car to have.

Ken - actually- the 1.4 - compared to the 1.8 - is weak...........but much more fuel efficient. Has the same torque rating but also has that same torque at a lower RPM. YMMV,
