2016 Volvo S60 Polestar Review

The new performance version of the Volvo S60 is now available in South Africa.
We quite enjoyed the first-generation Polestar, which featured a turbocharged 3.0L straight six motor.
Now however, Volvo has ditched the larger engine for a 2.0 super- and turbo charged powerplant.

I have an XC60 R Design 2 litre turbo and supercharged. That the wife's car. I have an S60 T6 R Design Polestar. Very different in power and sound. Ive driven fast cars, but this one is different. No turbo lag, instant power, pins you to the back of the most comfortable seats you could possibly wish for. A visceral experience while being cradled in soft leather and bolsters.

The inline 6 cylinder is the best iteration and a collectible, relatively rare car

Only difference between the 2016 and 2017 model is the rims, engine, and transmission. Everything else is the same. IMO the only improvement over the 16 model is the 8 speed transmission. I will take the inline 6 over the 4 banger any day
