Had over 150 bikes.This also one of my favorites ! Have arrow slip-on,Sargent seat and 2 wheel dyno flash. The flash made it much smoother. Sport mode is as smooth as touring.

I agree! I just got the flash for my bike and it feels so much better. I wish it had come from factory this way!

I just bought a 2024 and love it as well. I hear ya about the throttle, but once I stay in either mode for a long time I get used to it. As for the weight, I came from a Harley, so this is no problem! Safe riding Raguvian, love the video.

Thanks!! I would highly recommend the 2 Wheel DynoWorks tune if you're interested, the throttle response is so much better in both modes and the bike is a joy to ride now.

Glad to hear you are still enjoying the bike. Regards from California.

On my 3rd tenere 1200 just love them,but have to say rode the ktm1290 adventure and boy does it give you a buzz,but the big deal for me on the tenere is its reliability it solidness the comfortable feeling of it wont let you down that is great peace of mind.

Nice video. I liked my SuperTenere so much I just bought a second one. I'll sell the first eventually. I took both to 2WheelDyno. It's worthwhile. Did a slip on Delkevic and K&N on this newer to me bike. Loving it!

Awesome! I put the 2WDW tune on about 1500 miles ago now and absolutely love it. Definitely worth the price and solved my biggest complaint with the bike.

@@Raguvian Does it give you clutch hand some relief? I would think with the reflash, you would be able to stay in gear longer.
@Raguvian20 күн бұрын
@ I don't think the tune changes the gearing, if anything with more power I have to shift more often :P

Yes...the weight is serious on the S10, and the bike is tall. I nearly had a heart attack and a panic attack yesterday pushing mine up a ramp into a trailer (as the fuel pump was dead.) Fortunately, the fuel pump (with 35,000 miles) died in the driveway. (BTW.....a $450 part.) Excellent vid👍.....which boots are you wearing? Tnx, jd
@Raguvian20 күн бұрын
Sorry to hear about the fuel pump! Do you know why it died? Mine is at 32,000 miles so I'm a little worried about it now. I'm wearing the Gaerne Balance boots!

@@Raguvian Turns out fuel pump was OK. (I did not do the diagnosis......I have unheated cramped garage and freezing weather....so an ace electrical tech at Bobby Js in Santa Fe NM has the credit.) Although I had electrical connectivity to the pump, the amps were down (which is something I could not have figured.) It turned out to be the electrical connector to the pump, under the tank - it was loose and corroded., which reduced the juice. {My starting problem had been that upon hitting the ignition switch, it would fire up for about half a second, then die. Further tries on the ignition switch and it would be just the starter motor whirring....no start up ignition at all. Trying it again hours or days later (while keeping on a trickle charger during the interim)......and the same starting failures would repeat.} Btw......if one can keep toes and fingers warm.....I recommend cold weather riding. All the extra layers of clothing......which would create a tight personal sauna in normal weather......lends to an increased sense of protection if the unthinkable happens 😑

You can adjust the freeplay of throttle , that knob on cable its for adjustment :D after that is not that jumpy
@RaguvianАй бұрын
The freeplay is within spec, it needs to have some freeplay so the throttle doesn't bind when you turn the bars.

What kind of gas mileage do you get in the forest twisties seen in the second part of the film where you stop narrating? Looks like around 60 mph + - .
@Raguvian20 күн бұрын
If I'm riding quickly in the twisties (lots of accelerating), I'll get around mid-30's for MPG!
@danielkramer858620 күн бұрын
Don't think there's a throttle cable. That why you have cruise control. Your bike has ride by wire instead. It uses electronic signals instead of a physical connection.
@Raguvian20 күн бұрын
The Super Tenere's system is kind of weird - it has throttle cables going to a servo on the throttle body. That's why you can see two cables coming out of the grip (push/pull setup), and on the throttle body side it's controlled by a servo, which is how the cruise control works.
