Quick wiring help on a 2017 Lincoln Continental LED grille emblem from Raymax with 360 camera on the front

I have had mine wired to an empty fuse slot in the box under the hood for the past two years. It only illuminates when I have the headlights on auto and put the car into gear. It goes out when in Park. I've been apprehensive to try the wiring harness but this looks simple. It appears you can disconnect the harness from the headlamp to insert the red and white wires from the Raymax emblem. Is that correct? Do you splice the wires our is there a way to insert the emblems wiring into the harness without damaging anything? I definitely want to give this a try.

Correct. Very easy to wire and works with key fob or proximity lighting.

I don't splice or cut anything. Just push the pins in the back of the headlamp harness

Mine does nothing on the blue/white wire. I do have ground on the green/black. The only wire that responds with any change in illumination is the wire directly above the green/black that gives me positive power for the headlights, but I can't find anything that gives me power for the running lamps.

Do you by chance have the HID Headlights? I am getting ready to install my emblem this weekend and i cannot find the wires to hook up to with the HID headlights.

@@JudgmentDay989 So my connections only give me the voltage on one set of wires that effectively turn on the emblem, and that's only when the headlights are fully on. From what I understand, the other switching contacts for DTRL are done with dry contacts as there is direct power to the headlight assembly. So it's switching from within the housing which is why we don't have multiple changes of detectable battery voltages will many of the wires at the housing. Be it ground or positive.

Does the Emblem stay on for 10 minutes after you shut the car off?

It does not stay on. This will come on and off directly with daytime running lights. The green/black wire is the solid ground and blue/white is the on trigger wire for the daytime lamps

@@Eurythmian66 I spliced into the blue/grey wire on the driver’s side headlight. Works like a charm!
