But to be fare, when can you buy a HYBRID SUPERCAR for NSX price? current 3 production HYBRID SUPER CAR, Laferrari(V-12, single electric motor), P1(V-8 TT, Single electric motor), Porsche 918 (V-8, 2 front electric motor), and these Supercars cost MILLIONS. For NSX price you might/probably/ below buy something like 488, Huracan, 911, R8, Corvette, and etc, but for sure you WILL NOT get a HYBRID SUPERCAR. Honda developed a Supercar not like any HIGH production vehicle manufacturers(Audi, Bmw, Lexus, Mercedes, Ford and GM). Honda is offering and living to the New Sport Experiences(NSX). Yes, you probably going to say you like Natural aspirated vehicle with/none turbos, and you have the every right too, just as the same Honda to make a hybrid. what else he FAILED to mention the engine and block is COSWORTH build, and maganetic suspension. Cosworth well know British F1 engine manufacturer. SMH another bias mis-informed review. oh yea F1 Maclaren and HOnda teamed up for F1, and while the SCG-003 uses Honda engine too while dismissed the FORD 3.8 TTV-6 for it. SMH, folks that still talking about 90's Civics, yes it started from the bottom, but Honda stepped-up its game. Sadly people like ya with that mindset stuck with Civics. i think its call stubborn, igonrance, or wanted stimga to make one feel superior. SMH

Great review Alex. As Honda builds this car to be a relate-able, everyday supercar, your review is relate-able to an everyday driver. Each time I see a track review I wonder how it will behave on the street since they mostly focus on track bragging metrics. I have a 2016 RLX Sport Hybrid Advance and each day I marvel more what this sophisticated drive-train does for a big exec sedan. The RLX SH has been flawless and I trust it will be reliable in the NSX as well. It is impressive that the SH-SHAWD system can be leveraged for the pedestrian cars in the brand all the way up to the NSX halo car. Usually track inspired engineering does not launch simultaneously with the pedestrian vehicles.

Over two years later, and they did NOT sell out soon. In fact, as of today there are still a few NEW dealer stock 2017 MY for sale. There are also GREAT low mileage used NSX for sale right now right what I consider very good prices. Definitely an underrated car, and I expect the value of these cars to increase in the long run, 15-20 years from now.

Excellent review! I have had many 911s, including GT3RS. Problematic at time with the cayenne S. Highway robbery maintenance and repair cost. After seeing many reviews and this one I love the most. I think I will pursue to go for a test drive the NSX!(ie., no sex) my buddy called it when it first came out. High chance to buy one.. this car is growing on me. 🦅🦅🇺🇸

I do think it's the most beautiful of the supercar segment. It's super aggressive, but so clean and elegant at the same time. A lot of supercars have styling that's a little too dramatic for my taste.

One of the most annoying thing is that you never say the braking distance on some videos... you either say "the brake is good in this car" or "braking in this car is one of the worst"... what is good and what is bad? Numbers tells us if its good or bad.. Im not hating or anything just need to say those stats. Keep posting! Love the informative reviews!

+Chr Gav We usually do cite the braking distance however when we review cars like this NSX where I did not have the ability to test it on our usual track you really can't compare numbers. The surface has a huge impact on braking distance and I always test cars on the same surface to deliver consistent comparisons. It's just not possible at these kind of launch events.

+Logλn L (ホンダ) This reviewer got 3.3 on his 0-60 tests. Now, I think Acura likes to play it safe so I do trust their 3.0 flat 0-60 number that they gave with their press material but I suspect it will have to be on the optional Michelin Super Sport tires or what ever the performance tire is.

Love the reviews, best I've found out there. Just one problem, you really need to cut back on use of the word 'actually'. Now and then is fine, but its really quite distracting, much like when you notice a public speaker doing the "umm..." mutterings.
