As a Vettel fan, i have nothing but respect for Bottas. He didn't jump start, his reaction time was 0.209 while Vettel's was 0.309 if i remember correctly. He didn't do anything spectacular but he made no mistakes. Good for him, as Vettel leads championship by 20 points.

???? No... The Bottas reaction time was 0.001... It was stated later on the post-race press conference where the journalist stated it and Vettel jokingly didn't believe it. Yes... Bottas start was THAT ridiculous. He TRIED to jump start and just got SUPER LUCKY with it.

There is also no recorded proof of him having a 0.001 reaction time, not even in any race, but in Japan he did have a 0.04s reaction time if you were getting confused with that. I really think you should fact check before commenting these things mate.

If you analyze his start from his onboard camera on a frame-by-frame basis, you can see that the car starts pointing up (meaning the weight is shifting to the back of the car, caused by accelerating - aka his initial launch on the start) BEFORE the lights even go out. However, he only moved out of his grid slot AFTER the lights were out, meaning his start was legal. I have no idea what you're talking about with your "0.201" seconds because its simply false. This start was more perfect than perfect because he started letting go of the clutch BEFORE the lights were even out. So, next time you say people should fact check, you should ensure that you are right yourself. In this case you are simply wrong.

Kvyat was the bowling bowl that hit the skittles. He took out Alonso and then Alonso took out Verstappen. Even though Max had a bad start he still minded his own business going into turn 1. Daniil Kvyat is not good enough to be in F1. He is good, but there are GP2 drivers who could do a much better job.

As a major supporter of his, I know the feeling of always being under appreciated. All people do is compare him to Max, when he deserves credit in his own right. Yeah, some drives of his haven’t been the best of his ability, but he’s one fine racer, and deserves a lot more than he gets. He isn’t just max verstappen’s teammate, he’s Daniel Joseph Ricciardo, 5x race winner, 27x podium finisher, 129x race starter, 1x pole sitter, f1 talent, future world champion. Technically, it was a jump start. The only reason it hasn't triggered in the system is the system allowance, even the FIA admitted that. Otherwise he clearly moved before lights out which is only possible if he was trigger happy on the pedals. He simply got lucky that the lights went out in less-than-the-allowance-time after he released the clutch - but make no mistake, accounting for actual human reaction times (not the 0.201s that was registered in the allowance-adjusted system), his brain must have sent the command before lights out.

Bottas jump started by 0.003 but it is in the realm of clutch adjustment rule so he did nothing wrong. Should be case closed but some people have pretty thick skulls. BTW don't send me that gif, do yourself a favor and read my comment.

Great argument. He jump-started but because F1 has poor regulations he did nothing wrong. Unless Bottas intended to go before the lights went out but later than he would be detected by the sensors he did do something wrong.
