2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Suspension Upgrade & Refresh | Rough Country 2.5 Lift

This is my 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 crew cab, this is a big upgrade and a much needed refresh of the steering and suspension components after 215,000 Miles!

Looking to get this lift and I was wondering if u could buy a 1inch block and place it on top of the strut instead of the .5in block making it a 3in lift ofcourse replacing the upper control arms would this work? Though and could u also link where u got the uca and the rear shocks?

How has your truck treated you? Any major issues? About a year ago i bought a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 4+4 with 46,000 miles then immediately deleted my AFM and installed a lower temp transmission thermostat and swapped out all fluids front to rear. If my truck makes it to 215,000 miles without any serious issues I'll be super happy! Lol. I'm sure most of the issues you see and hear about are from poor maintenance but theres always that chance of a mechanical failure regardless. Thanks! Ps, you got a good looking truck! I did a 6" RC lift with 20" wheels on 33's, i love my Silverado!

So far it's held up pretty well. I'm trying to figure out where an oil leak is coming from and I'm in the process of swapping out the A/C condenser because i believe it has a leak, but otherwise it's going well! Thanks for watching!

The stock struts and coil overs that come on the Silverado suck. The rough country I guess is a little bit better step up you would’ve done much better with the Bill Steen or the fox 2.0 coil over for the money and the ride much better, but to each their own.

bilstein, stupid. And it’s all about everyone’s budget as well. Obviously the bilstein or fox would be a better set up but $330 for the 2” rc n3 loaded strut is a lot cheaper and a noticeable upgrade over stock. Not everyone cares to have the best. Dont be stupid, stupid.
