dashcam dummies I have done a little looking and it appears that they dont offer the atak for that year of your truck I wonder why you might be able to order the muffler only and then get what you need to make it work if you want it bad enough to do that

That pop u hear is the ecu cutting power, so the transmission doesn't get an ass whooping everytime it makes a shift. It's called torque management

Ni Nguyen there is no drone in v8 mode when it switches to v4 mode you can hear a difference in the sound but the drone sound is very minimal I hope that helps I have a couple more videos up on my channel with my truck in v4 mode check them out with a good set of headphones

Just an fyi if yout shift down into manual shifting and click the + up to 5th it will stay in v8 mode. And I have actually seen a 2-3 mpg improvement around town depending on traffic

i’m getting this exact same exhaust, i did notice that your left exhaust pipe seems to hang down a little lower than the right one (might just be the angle of the camera)

Yeah it did I had to loosen the clamp up and twist it till it matched the right side

How you getting that kind of fuel mileage? Iv got a 16 with 80k and best Iv ever done was 16.5. Normally it’s 15.6 and 14 in the winter.

I had a hypertech max energy 2.0 tuner on it it really increased the gas mileage them trucks are choked up from factory that will open it up for you I have a 19 duramax now and get 22 mpg out of it

I’m looking to get the atak installed on my ‘20 Silverado but my truck comes with this “flapper valve” and wondering if I should remove or keep it because I don’t want too much drone inside the cabin.

The new exhaust does not have the flapper valve in in...so it is removed when you take the factory exhaust off.

It is load on cold start then tames down. In the cab it is not bad at all unless you mash the throttle I really loved the exhaust on that truck. You will like it as well worth every penny

No it is not crazy loud unless you put your foot in it Startup is a loud but depending on how long your truck stays at high idle ... regular idle is not bad

Truck sounds great. BTW, have you noticed any idle flutter and/or intermittant rough idle with your 5.3? Noticed mine a day after I took delivery of truck and drives me crazy when I sit at a light. Dealer told me "they all do it". Not buying it.

cody deitering mine is still stock and I average around 21 to 22 mpg my best is 26.9 mpg but if I am driving in town it goes down to 17 or 18 mpg hope this helps
