2017 Chevy SS Sedan Splitter Install....FINALLY!!!

Finally got a few hours of dry weather to install my JT Carbon (www.jtcarbon.com) Carbon Fiber Splitter for my '17 SS.
Overall, it was pretty painless. I may change the hardware to something lower profile, but for now I will touch it up with black paint to conceal it a bit better. VERY happy with the product at this point...now Josh has to get a rear spoiler done! Hahaha!

How did you unplugged the wires from the passenger side, ?

Are you referring to the head lights and running lights? You can get running lights by peeling back the splash guard while you are unbolting the bumper. 👍🏻what specifically are you looking to remove/disconnect

Lee Greene it really isn’t that bad to install. I have heard that folks have installed the splitter without removing the bumper but you will definitely need another set of hands to hold the splitter.

Lee Greene you would need to remove the plastic panel underneath the car but I think you would be able to get to the spots necessary to secure it.

i just put mine on 2 weeks ago i just used a skew driver and drill and some panhead self tappers didnt take about 10 minutes

This was so helpful to me. Someone hit my SS in a parking lot and I did't see it until the next morning, or maybe a week not sure. So I need a new front bumper. I was scared to pull it, just didn't want to mess it up more. Now I can do it myself and will do the front splitter. I want a wing, kind of like the ZL1, but don't want it to look tacky. i haven't seen one I like yet. Any Idea's.
