2017 Civic Type R Resonator Delete!

I made this video to talk about the Civic Type R exhaust, and a resonator delete that was done on the vehicle.
During the video clip shoot we ran into a Golf R and did a small pull next to it.

After a coupe days did you notice any annoying drone? Like on city streets between 40-45mph in any gear, 4th, 5th, and 6th. I just had both mufflers and resonators removed, loved it at first but something has to go back on, the droning is abnoxious.

did you need to remap the ecu to adjust for lower back pressure or did it just adjust on it's own?

Would have been good to get some drive bys. Super hard to gauge how it sounds from this video. Was it alot louder? Deeper at all? Raspy? Sounded a bit drony too.

For daily without pushing the car all the time, the sound is excessive. Pushing it hard, it does drone. I might put back one resonator and reach the sound desired via wider not resonated downpipe once available.

You have both resonators removed as well? Was two removed too loud? Do you think I should just remove one? If so, which one? Just want my car louder without going too insane. Holding myself over until I install a real exhaust. Thanks

tbh it doesn't sound pleasing on video it sounds like these old civics with muffler deletes and holes in their exhausts. i personally like a deeper sound, however on this video it sounds like a fart. but that is based of what I've heard and seen. still love the type r.

TheBultrowicz Well, I wanted to try this, I've heard the magna flow and Full Race and wasn't in love, this was only 40$ to have them removed versus 1800$ for magna flow which is the only one for sale currently. I'm excited to hear Greddy they usually have good things in store

Sounds like ass. The car's styling is already so over the top, adding an obnoxious exhaust note like that puts it even more over the top. This Type R has officially "jumped the shark."
