Does it have rear brake? Quite a few people got these and from the showroom floor they had no rear brake even after dealer replaced the master brake cylinder. They need to work out some big issues before slapping on a 20+k price tag on it. If you are getting a used one test the brakes before taking it on a test ride. Lots of power and having only front brake is an accident waiting to happen.
@akupehsluarketatAR5 жыл бұрын
Ducati made it that way and if you've ridden a monster hard enough once, you'll understand why. The same goes to other models of the Monster. I ride an 1100evo and i complaint to the shop where i bought my bike from about the rear brakes. The mech told me abt the same issues with the other models too. Its just the way it is. As i learn to ride my monster pushing it step by step and ride hard enough doing frequent hard braking on the front, the rear becomes pointless as the abs keeps kicking in. You can literally stop the bike with the front brakes alone. My monster now doesnt have a working rear brakes at all as the caliper seals are leaking. The engine brake alone is enough to slow the bike down to correct your speed around a corner. Basically the rear brakes are there just to prevent you from rolling when stopping at the lights.
@kirkleidemann5051 Жыл бұрын
@@akupehsluarketatAR You have remove the caliper on the rear brake and bleed it in an upside down position to get all of the air out.

late in the game, but what bike if you had the choice what would you get between the 2019 MT 10 or Monster 1200 S? I'm ready to buy, but I like to hooligan and in town riding and having a tough time deciding. Does the monster wheelie in 3rd?
@3star2nr5 жыл бұрын
The monster isn't that kind of bike. If u want to do wheelies and stuff get the yamaha. In fact go for he fz09 or fz07. Both are alot less and will handle abuse and hooliganism way better than the ducati. This bike is built for city riding and carving canyons and looking cool.
@3star2nr5 жыл бұрын
Id also buy used wheelies are really bad for a bike so ur going to need extra money for mods and repairs. The fz09 is basically designed exactly for the riding u plan on doing. If u get the monster u wont regret it until it comes time to fix it...

Why is your video quality so poor on some reviews? Your run of the mill motovlogger has much higher quality video on average. Note: when i say video quality I'm talking about resolution, focus, and lighting. Not material.
