Also red grouper has a season and I catch red more than freggin grunts and I go weekly to the patches they're getting out of hand I've had to throw back several 25 + inch groupers it's like goliath you can catch them anywhere they put restrictions wich was justified but they've recovered and they never changed laws ..now muttons at 18 (which I have no problem with )but good luck catching a legal sized one on a bridge lol I feel bad for bridge fishermen

Any specific tips for the red grouper? We have a boat down here for the week in Key Largo and want to go get on some good fish on the patch reefs. Anything big, but grouper for the cooler would be nice.

Gardner Brothers Live pinfish is always a good bet for the groupers, and even the snappers.

Dude get outta here! I love fishing key largo and then pulling up to alabama jacks for a fresh fried fish sandwich and a few cold ones. And im from LA! Ive fished that bridge right there for many giant tarpon and then drove 5 minutes to the restaraunt.
