As accomplished as the modern V8 Ferrari models are, I don’t feel much for them because of the sound. V8 Ferrari sound peaked imo with the 458. On the other hand, I absolutely adore the 812 and the V12 Lusso. Sound-wise, nothing compares in today’s market. The Aventador sounds good too, but it doesn’t come close to the sophistication of the V12 Ferraris. And this shooting brake design just makes it so cool. The ultimate do everything type of car.

@cobra10102 жыл бұрын
@@chusosaez Good evening. Well, that is one of several convincing characteristics of the FF, it is very discreet. In an FF in a muted colour you fly under the radar and can enjoy it for yourself without creating a big fuzz. Only car enthousiats will notice it. However, there is one thing to keep in mind - the FF is loud when you start it up. It becomes quieter after a couple of seconds, but in the beginning it is really loud. Just something to be considered in the contex of parking, neighbourhood, privacy, etc. If you find a nice example in good shape - go for it, you will not regret it! Cheers!

The ECUs in the front are for the engine. The engine is direct-injected, and there is currently no single ECU that can do direct injection for a V12. So they split the engine in two banks (duh) and each ECU handles each bank, with one ECU being the master and the other being the slave.

I think one thing that must be said is that the FF and GTC4 look far better in person than in pictures and video. For some reason it's tough to capture the proportions but IRL the car has a commanding presence and the flowing lines of the shooting brake are really elegant. Definitely one of my favorite Ferrari's, but it's just so weird and different. A future classic for sure.

It happened that i was a passenger in one of these 2 years back on the road from Dubai to Abu Dhabi Yas F1 circuit where the Middle East Ferrari owners club was having an event there. It's a great car, all the perks of a Ferrary but with more room for people and luggage. I would buy anytime one of these, it makes a perfect daily driver if you want it to, and also it's good for cruising with your family to a vacation unlike the other Ferraris where you cannot carry a bag of groceries and they are design only for weekend drives or race track fun, purely for solo guys/girls, max 1 friend in the car.

I guess I just don't get it. The only time you can enjoy that engine is for momentary bursts of acceleration; the rest of the time you're just loafing along in a tall gear (at 13 mpg). Would gladly give up 200hp for some weight savings and a short ratio manual gearbox, so you can enjoy that engine throughout your drive.

The phrase comes from vehicles designed with a hatch space long enough to accommodate long guns for shooting sports, then taking a break from shooting. Somehow the word brake incorrectly became associated with the phrase (likely just because vehicles have brakes, so the association was assumed) but the phrase is shooting break, not shooting brake.

@tims13483 жыл бұрын
The SUV hype is such a shame, such a soulless, mind numbing, classless, and tasteless vehicle choice. There are so many other cars with such character. hatch backs and station wagons can have low center of gravity and have such characters. But a lot like todays market in music people don't want good musicianship just want to fall in line with the rest of their peers. Such a moronic society.

I don’t know why anyone would choose a Urus over this. Like, I just can’t justify spending 300k on a SUV. Yes, it’s a Lamborghini, but if I’m spending that much money on a Lamborghini I want a Huracan or a used Adventador. If you really want that expensive 4 seater though, a N/A v12 FF or GTC4 Lusso is way cooler than any Urus IMO.
