I have 93k miles on mine. Put 89 in the tank once every six fill ups of 87 and it made mine shift smoother and accelerate quicker. It tends to jerk quickly when accelerating but once you drive it for a bit, you get a feel for how to push on the gas to avoid the issue. when i first got it, i enjoyed it and slowly dreamed of getting a newer and nicer car but now now i’m just proud of it for living so well for me up to this point and i want to keep him as long as i can.

The "green thing" whatever you call it. That's a purge valve, they tend to commonly go bad, they were recalls about the purge valve too. Happened to me when the the rpms were going dropping down to 500rpm and felt like it wanted to stall whenever my car was at full stop. Had the issue you had where the light would always come on. For me, I found out that I when took the new aftermarket part out and inserting it back in, It fixed my issue and never had a single code or problem so far. Hoped that helped, could also be a faulty part you received.

That part you talking about is the pugre valve component. Used for the car engine emissions.

The Ford engines look and sound awesome to most. I love Ferrari but these rally cars are my favourite in the wet/snow. The main job of the vehicle is you worked well open arrival and you did not crash I would get another one. Loving a Ford car is rewarding, Mr. Ford loved farming and I believe that is the best.

I just bought a pretty grey one with 7 tiny dents from hail with 47k miles for $9.5 at a GSA auction. The market is rough these days….However, it’s better than $14k. I’m happy, but our dollar doesn’t go as far. It seams like a fairly sturdy car tho! I outbid someone and didn’t even realize it in all the chaos; it was public. This should get me through nursing school with my twins. I’m reading the manual rn to run the maintenance it needs. I’m hoping this car lasts, because I need it to…I’ll sell it in a year and hopefully get my money back. But I’m only going to put 7k miles on it.

i have the same year car with 97k miles and a sedan, had to replace the engine mount as it was going out causing vibrations all through the car. and the trans is starting to act up like a typical focus dual clutch, glad i still have plenty of miles left on a extended warranty i have

I'm currently looking for a new car, a drunk destroyed my beloved 2015 Sonic hatchback. Due to chronic pain issues I can't handle low cars like a sedan or a Honda Insight. How easy is this to get in and out of?

Appreciate your video. Was looking to buy a '17 SE sedan for my daughter but every thing I read says to stay away due to the clutch and transmission issues. No issues for yours? Thanks brother.

Most of the issues that plagued older MK.3 Focuses (with the 6-speed PowerShift DCT) were fixed in 2015-2016 model years, and the 2017+ models stepped it up in reliability even more. I'm fairly certain they redesigned the clutch packs and were made of more durable material, etc. So it wasn't just software but hardware fixes too. Most people are too uneducated to really form a valid opinion. I've seen countless times people with complaints getting tons of things mixed up. A DCT isn't your typical torque converter automatic, never will be. So when people realized they weren't acting as such, people got upset and as such you'll see a fair bit of buyers imagining problems that is normal DCT behavior. I will however say, driving habits will really impact how long your DCTs clutches last, so keep that in mind and do a little digging into how to properly drive one. I own a '17 Focus S, never had problems with it so far and its nearing 45k miles.

The transmission is very easy to service I work on mines twice every 40,000 I change the fluid it take a lil under 2 quartz to fill it up just change the motor oil with 5w 20 synthetic every 5000 and this car will run forever and in eco mode one green leaf mode can get 42mpg

it's always better to connect the negative to the ground on the chassis rather than the battery, also you have to be very careful jump starting a modern car you can easily burn something up in the ecu with a voltage spike
