Currently have a V6 2015 Black Mustang, let me start of by saying it is a really fun car to drive, even for a V6. Definitely plan on switching it for GT. As for the color, Black does show way more swirls and dust/dirt much more than any other color but if you know how to maintain it right, its well worth it. Highly recommend getting it detail twice a year to keep it in great condition.

I have a 15 GT PP, and I love that they havent changed really anything over the past couple years.I did the black accent package with a $5 plastidip. I got the shaker system, I like that in mine its still black, not white. So you don't notice it. Got the GT350 steering wheel which is almost a must, feels 100% better

Nothing wrong with a Mustang being your first car. However, there are a few caveats to buying. I have been around cars all my life. Working on carburetors to Suspension to racing. There is nothing wrong with buying a mustang as a first car, provided you are prepared for it. As in, say you are going from a 2002 Honda Civic with a respectable 130 hp. Front wheel drive. Then you go to a 2017 Mustang with 435 Hp rear wheel drive and you have no quite got that horsepower under control? It can be both a thrill and a scary experience. So, if you really want a Mustang. Find a dealership with a driving track where you can open it up and see if you can handle it, or rent one before you buy one and check to see if you are prepared for the power. I wanted a 1985 Camaro Z/28 it only had 157 HP. Was fast for its time and manageable. Then my next Camaro was a 2002 Camaro SS with 335 hp...Was not quite ready for the power increase and went sideways a few times before I got used to it. So, test drive first before you buy.

Agreed. When I got my '10 GT, they didn't change the look for at least 5 years. 2015 was the new model of this mustang, so give it at least till 2020 for them to change how the mustang looks.

I own a 2015 GT Premium PP. I absolutely love this car! I owned a 2010 GT Premium before trading up for this one and I can tell you that Ford has improved their quality of the Mustang 1000%. There are a few minor details I wish Ford would improve on i.e hood prop, ugly massive coolant reservoir tank, brighter true white LED gills on the headlights...Also, the stock exhaust system is super quite!! Although for most people that's usually the first thing to get upgraded/modified anyways so no big deal!! Id also like Ford to consider maybe a brushed aluminum truck deck lid...The current piano black finish deck lid is a huge dirt magnet!!!! All in all thought the GT is an amazing car!!!

Looked at a '17 GT with NO trunk lamp. My '05 GT has a trunk lamp - very useful. I'm reminded of my '88 Ranger XLT with NO under hood lamp. Standard on the '87 Ranger XLT but the parts were still available, including the underhood plug and the drill hole on the hood. All I had to do was remove the small piece of insulation where the lamp would mount.

Got my 2016 GT at the end of February ... and love it, Love It, LOVE IT! The hood-mounted turn signals are a bit weird, because from the driver's seat, you can only see the left one unless you have the seat WAY up. No biggie, though. The premium stereo is worth it when you're not listening to that delicious exhaust note, and for the most part, the Sync 3 system works quite well. And the car just goes like it was shot from a cannon! VERY happy with my 'Stang!

Nice review. I just bought mine today. I got shadow black premium with GT performance package and 401a trim, enhanced security pack, reverse sensing system, voice activated nav. Basically everything except for recaro seats, they are way too tight for me, and you cant get them air conditioned or heated. I really really want that. First thing I am doing is buying springs and camber plates , the car HAS to be lowered right away. Then in the spring I am going Roush axle backs with Ford racing resonator delete xpipe. I should get it by next Friday so pumped.

If you don't get the voice activated Nav, do you still get navigation? I was under the impression that the voice activated Nav was like a voice command thing. Is that not true? I'm ordering a 17 California Special in a month and want to make sure I get everything right.

Hmmm, I'm not 100% sure to be honest. If I had to guess I would say that the NAV just comes with voice activation. I don't think there is a touchscreen nav without voice commands. But like I said, I'm not 100% sure. My bill of sale says Voice activated Navigation, $800 (Canada)

a week after i got my 2016 GT premium convertible, i went and lowered it with Eibachs after salpping some 2016 Saleen wheels. the drop is perfect. low enough to look good, but plenty of clearance. Got rid of the stock exhaust and running Roush axle backs and replaced the resonator with an H pipe...........loud as hell and sounds great. my neighbors hate me.......

I really hope they make those LED DRL's a bit brighter than they are during the day. They're pretty weak in almost any normal daylight. For instance, compare it to the Camaro's DRL's.
