Good content man! You know, Car manufacturers these days are making vehicles harder for us diy-ers to fix our own cars this modern day. Such as trying to change an oil filter. Some to most filters are in a weird hard to reach position, such as my new Mitsubishi Mirage, it is annoying had to get a oil filter tool this time to get it out. 😅

Lol, it's interesting all the different styles of oil filters different cars have. You'd think they would all be just standard cartridge filters at the top of the engine to preserve recycling the metal thread on filter. The thread on filters faster though......lol

People say flush is waste, Maybe so maybe not, if you have a newer car, if u do oil changes plus flushes from day one the engine will be very clean until the tires fall off, now maybe the flush won’t do much cause oil Keeps it clean but anything extra is the better for cleaning

Full synthetic oil have mineral oil in them. Amsoil is 100% synthetic and it has proprietary additives that don't allow the thickening of the oil and keep it high detergent so there's no deposits in the crankcase and around the cylinders. Mineral oil leaves deposits and the shape of the molecules are irregular and they cling and create carbon deposits around the Rings. Even if you change the oil every 600 miles with a good full synthetic there will still be more deposits around the Rings and the more deposits you get there will be more Blow by and less compression. Also you won't have as much performance and the fuel mileage will be less. Furthermore the OEM full flow filters don't trap as many contaminants as the Amsoil oil filter so it's exponential. Basically when you drive over a thousand miles year getting deposits inside the engine and sludge is already starting to form.

Eben, I enjoy watching your videos, I have considered trying Amsoil but every-time i look into it I change my mind due to the pricing structure. I currently use Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-30, which I typically order online for right around $25 for the 5 quart jug (Walmart or Amazon), The Amsoil Signature series would cost more than twice that amount. For me and the other people that watch your channel please convince me that the added cost is somehow worth it, I really think the ultra platinum is near equal product, thanks for your time, I look forward to reading your reply

There's really no comparison it's about 200% less money than Ultra Platinum because you can go one year 15,000 miles of severe service and that saves the cost of two other oil changes plus by the time you get the 10,000 miles you're going to save about $100 in gas because the hundred percent synthetic flows better and there's less pure aesthetic dragon on the engine. Also you're not looking at the correct thing Amsoil is less money for court once your preferred customer is 25% off. Synthetic Oil Protection Eben, I appreciate your comments but ultimately i am still going to follow the manufacturers recommended oil change intervals (7,500 for my specific car) at least when the vehicle is still under factory warranty, i would never risk my warranty by not following the schedule they created for the car they built. With that said there is no way Amsoil can be purchased for anything near the $25 per 5 quarts of the Pennzoil ultra platinum, even with the discount code its still nearly $50 plus shipping. I am sure its great oil, but again not worth double the price. Maybe once my car is out of warranty I will give it a shot, thanks for your input

You have a lot of misinformation in your video. Regarding the oil filter, the engineers at ford for have done extensive tests before putting a filter on their cars. Also why would u say you can go for one year between oil changes. You do not now what the hell ur talking about.

This product that I use in the video is not an oem equivalent product. Yeah you definitely wouldn't want to do this with regular Motorcraft or Motorcraft oil filter.
