Just ordered my 2018 Shadow black Supercab f150 Raptor with 802a package, moonroof, spray in bed liner and tail gate step... I enjoy seeing my baby before she acutally arrives. Thanks for the video candy.

If you dont mind me asking, what was your final over sticker price. I shopped at two dealers. One was $10,000 over whatever I ordered, plus a $10k deposit. The one I went with was in Holland, MI. With a $2,500 over sticker and 1k deposit. And the financing department was almost unbelievable with how they took care of us, I was shocked that they were not money hungry people. Any-who, same as you with the of course package 802a, moon-roof, tech package, carbon pack, no orange seats or graphics package tho. With $5,000 down we ended up financing $67,??? something. I was tolled by my rep that the "bank" opened about 3 weeks ago. SO CLOSE!!! I just hope the snow is still falling when it arrives.

I recommend Holland, MI dealership for all your ford needs. Also if anyone is in the market for a gt350 not the R just the reg 350. Midland, MI has two of them.

Good video - but when you say there's nothing this truck can't do that any other top of the line truck can do, that's just not the case, unfortunately. You definitely do make practical sacrifices for the Raptor's off-road capability. The Raptor has a Maximum tow rating of 8,000 LBS which is a full 4,100 LBS less than a properly equipped 17 F150 that isn't off-road focused. You also ONLY have the option of a 5.5 foot stubby bed which simply does not work for many people who use their trucks for a living. Love the Raptor don't get me wrong, but there are definitely compromises.

GadgetsNGear those are only compromises to people who specifically utilize those features though, which I’d argue is a fairly small slice. For normal people who need a truck to do truck things, it’s waaaay more than enough utility.

For people who buy a truck for funzies, sure. For people who use their trucks for work, these are big sacrifices. I would have gone for a raptor but I needed a 6.5 ft bed. It should at least be an option.

GadgetsNGear very true... but then if I’m using a truck to make money I’d probably be shopping an XL over a Raptor :). Just saying.. it’s obviously not a deal breaker for the majority of the market. All of the high end configs tend to be crew cab/short bed, for better or worse depending on your perspective.
